Triangle points up, so its on top. X=A. Circle and square... you're on your own, kid. |

They're pretty annoying if you don't play much playstation. You end up going "Now which one is triangle, again?" and then falling into a lake of fire. With most of the other systems, you can at least rely on the usual AB or ABXY setup. It's not the use of shapes as symbols that bugs me though...They're no less meaningful than letters, really. But what would really help is if Sony buttons were different colors, like EVERY OTHER SYSTEM OUT THERE so that they were easier to tell apart. |

I've got X and Triangle down. ...circle and square I get confused unless I'm actively playing something... |

[Terra:] Yeah, but it's not as obvious as a fully colored button. I dunno...maybe it's easier for you guys with half-decent vision. Once it gets skinny enough, a line just looks like a line to me. |

The controller is allright, outside a few questionable button choices for specific games, but thats neither here 'nor there. |

Am I the only person that doesn't have a problem with any controller? With a little time I can adapt to pretty much anything. What is on the button isn't nearly as important as what each individual game tells you to press. Whether a game tells you to press B or a game tells you to press O, I know that means the button to the right. The X-box controller is uncomfortable because of it's awkward size but usable. I actually like the Gamecube controller the least because of it's utterly bizzare control scheme ("We'll make one huge freakin' button, and then surround it with tiny ones! Brilliant!"), but I've learned to adapt to that too to play games I like, and after playing long enough you don't even notice the oddness anymore. |

I agree with you FZ. Of all the control schemes out there, the Gamecube was one of the hardest for me to learn. And adjusting is usually easy for me. I'm not saying its IMPOSSIBLE to create a completely unintuitive controller, just that I have yet to meet one. |

DAMN IT! If otakon wasn't literally a week away this would be mine.... It's the japanese version of that Onw Piece game that was released here, with more stages because 4 kids had to have trhje gme edited because the series hadn't gotten as far here as when the game was released in Japan.... |

So... anyone planning on getting Mario Hoops 3 on 3? Just curious. edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_the_Tempest
Woohoo! Oh, quick query: For those in the know, are there any Tales games besides Phantasia where one of the characters uses a bow? |

Damned X-Box controller just ruins the console for me. I never know what the hell it wants me to press and just can't get used to it. It's too freaking big! |
