Uh, not to say I don't believe them but... can Ubisoft really complete all these games on schedule? We're at what? 8, maybe more games from Ubisoft now? Edit: I investigated that forum with the 110+ game list and found: http://www.gfdata.de/archiv05-2006-gamefront/wiiliste.jpg Its a list of 3rd party launch titles according to a financial report. |

I may have to look into getting a new pokémon game; the last one I played was silver. What Pokémon games are there for the GBA, and what have they added since Gold and Silver? (Gameplay-wise, not pokémon.) |

There used to be an image here telling you to vote, but then Photobucket, the image site made to allow you to do third party hosting, no longer allows third party hosting without throwing a shitload of money at them... and I can barely afford to eat. So no you get some text of me bitching about it, yaaay! Also, go vote. Everyday I'm tumbl'n. "This bitch is makin' me all Paru..." ~Hang in There, Kogasa-san! | |

The Might and Magic: Dark Missaiah demo has come out, at a whopping 1.4 gig size. Considering it's made by the Arx Fatalis team though, I'm willing to give it a shot. Plus, I love my Might and Magic. Oh, and for anyone that needs a D/l for it, there's ftp://wwwp.de:10021/ the password is sagames, and that's the login too. *shhhh* |

in R/E they added the runningshoes which replaces a bike, and the bike becomes something stupid, beauty contests which net you nothing as far as I know. In FR/LG they got rid of the contests, fixed the bike back to how it used to be. made fishing a little better and got rid of night/day. |

Ruby/Sapphire introduced Double Battles, Pokemon Contests, and generally a smoother looking interface. Emerald has everything that Ru/Sa has, but also brings back the Phone system from Gold and Silver, that allows you to challenge Gym Leaders for a second time, and expands on the Double Battle mechanic, allowing you to team with a computer NPC for real two-on-two battles. EDIT: Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald have a clock feature, and by definition, a Day/Night feature as well, but there's no changes to the world map to reflect the time. |

You know, the game Rise and Fall: Civilizations at war is odd in that while there is the main game, there's also a First Person Action version where you take over your hero unit and battle in hand to hand on the front lines. And while I know it's completely impractical (Every time I go into Hero Mode, I seem to take about twice as many losses as I would normally), I can't help but keep doing it because it's so awsome. I'm not sure if that makes it a good design because it's fun, or bad design because it's horribly inefficent compared to staying in command mode the whole game. |

Both. It's good in that it caters to a different audience and is fun. It's bad in that it lowers inefficiency, which to some people makes it undesirable. HOWEVER, since it's entirely optional, the 'bad' part is pretty much ignored because people who don't like/want it can just ignore it. So that's a really good idea. |

So the later ones don't have the 'pokémon only appear during X time', then? |

Diamond and Pearl, the upcoming DS games, have been stated to reincorporate that particular feature. |

Also, Ruby/Saphire/Emerald have more of an actual STORYLINE, with a save-the-world element to it that was absent in previous incarnations. There was also the obvious more moves, a new HM or two, more pokemon, and a new method of evolution, though only one pokemon uses it and its incredibly hard to obtain. |
