Alright, good to hear they got rid of the time constraints on certain pokémon. While I will admit it certainly makes sense, it was damn annoying. |

There used to be an image here telling you to vote, but then Photobucket, the image site made to allow you to do third party hosting, no longer allows third party hosting without throwing a shitload of money at them... and I can barely afford to eat. So no you get some text of me bitching about it, yaaay! Also, go vote. Everyday I'm tumbl'n. "This bitch is makin' me all Paru..." ~Hang in There, Kogasa-san! | |

So. Shin'ou Underground features a honeycomb of Secret Bases, as well as the opportunity to dig for fossils with a friend. |

To add to Car's question, there's also Fire Red and Leaf Green. For the most part, they're essentially remakes of the original Red and Blue games. After you beat Cinnabar Gym you get the option to do a sidequest on some new islands. Moltres relocates to one of these islands and you gain the opportunity to do another sidequest after you beat the Elite 4 that involves more of these islands, as well as being able to catch Pokemon from Gold and Silver. I'd probably recommend Emerald the most. Ruby and Sapphire are good but Emerald has a lot more to the storyline and the antagonist groups. |

Also, if I'm not mistaken Emerald has a lot less "gotta trade to get 'em all" in it. |

The First Person Hero mode is what really makes it good. If you took that out, it's really just a mediocre Age of Empires. If you like RTS games, and wouldn't mind adding Dynasty Warriors into a game of Age of Empires, you might find it interesting, but my personal assessment is that the gimmick isn't enough to keep my attention forever. ... But for now it's kinda fun. Feel the might of the Roman Legion, spartan dogs! |

The music in Shadow of the Colossus, especially the music they play when you kill a Colossus, makes me feel shitty. Once again, that whole "murdering innocent giant monsters" things. |

I felt bad about killing some of them, but since about half of them try to kill you on sight, I felt a lot less guilty about killing their asses. |

Not to mention the Sims... Also, I felt bad about the random soldiers of the Volks Corporation. Then I realized that, with the rumors of ghosts and regular "possession screenings" that they had to have known what was going on. A contractor follows his heart, not his wallet. You know? |

Sorry to drag this back up, but since neither Best Buy nor Fry's had Pokémon Emerald, I had a question about it's Gamecube counter-part - Pokémon: Emoticon (XD). Is that pretty much like the N64 one, where you're just doing gym battles, or is it more like the handheld ones? |
|

Its a LOT more like the handheld ones. but even more plot-driven than EMerald. And with mainly plot-tied in opportunities for catching, eliminating the hours of hunting. |

Except, at least in its prequel (Colloseum), the gym battles are not at all important, and more like the anime tourneys anyways. Also, you Snag pokemon from other trainers, instead of catching your own, because the game takes place in an arid wasteland where there are no wild pokemon. |

Said arid wasteland region actually being based on Arizona instead of a region of Japan, for a change. |

Meh. That game sucked the balls anyway. Only thing it was good for was getting Gold and Silver pokemon in Ruby and Sapphire. |
