Red Steel. edit: I was looking for other footage of the new video that was released, at least as an IGN exclusive. |

That tells me nothing... a preview? A gameplay clip? A fan video? An advertisement? |

It's an IGN trailer for a game that is either set in japan or starts off with a building that was designed with japanesse wallpapers, doors, etc. It's obvioulsy going to be for the nintendo revo and it's violent. Though it does give bits and pieces of how to effectively use the revo controller to sword fight. (And apparently, do things that you could do in any other shooter that has a stairwell.) |

I think it's set in America. YOU are one man against the Yakuza. You use katanas and guns to seek vengeance, or protect some female, or something. |

(Q)_< This is from what I know from IGN In Los Angeles, the hero (male) is going to meet the father of his girlfriend for the first time, but the resteraunt is attacked by Yazuka, who before being chased off by the hero, kidnap his girlfriend and mortaly wound her father who turns out is also a Yazuka and gives the hero a sword called the Katana Giri (I think) which is a very valued symbol in the Yazuka. That is when you leave for Japan I think. Basically your supposed to show off with the sword to earn the respect of the various Yazuka factions to take down the main bad guy, Tokai. So heres another game where being a violent lunatic doesnt quite come about as a good idea. |

Okay, I know this will seem stupid, but I really can't make up my mind on this... The size of sprite I should use is really bugging me. ![]() ![]() I have problems with both. Anything in between looks...Bad. Half pixels and the like. Anyway. The smaller one makes the boards seem miles long, while the larger one, I think may be a little too big for doors and the like. |

Smaller one. It at least has a slightly more realistic size, where as the other one is far too big. |

I agree on the smaller one. If you're using the larger one, then it makes the background seem wrong. |

Works for me, I guess. Guess I'll adjust the movement rates slightly, so that the boards don't seem so freaking big. |

Each tile is about 32*32, and each step would be a quarter of that...so...8 pixels. And there is a bout a 0.05 second delay between each step. |

I say bigger cause it's easier to see the expressions on the characters faces, and the details of the clothes. They do need to be a bit smaller though, door height I think. |

In a continuation from yesterday's Pokemon news, it has now be revealed that the Pokemon you transfered will be released into a park and you actually have to hunt down and catch them yourself.
