I don't know if I can bring myself to play it though, MGS2 dissapointed me more than FF8...

This game makes up for MGS2 100%. This games makes you forget MGS2 ever happened. If you don't thinkg MGS3 makes up for the mess that was MGS2, then I'll eat my hat.

... This hat I have that looks exactly like a sandwhich. Tastes kind of like it too. And is made of actual sandwhich materials. But I'll eat it!

Of course you realizze, once you eat your hat you're going to have to wear your sandwhich on your head.

EAT THE HAT!

NOTHING can make up for Raiden.

I found MGS2 interesting, at least to watch my brother play... But I found the original too boring to play... would MGS3 still be recommended?

Almost beat the last level of Katmari Dacamy(I think), making the moon.

290 meters I had, had to be 300, all of a sudden my game just froze...for no fucking reason. Gah.

Keep going.

And make it +600 meters, you get a treat.

EDIT: +800 meters I mean.

If you don't get it up to 800 meters on your first try, you'll make me a sad puppy...

Oh, I just don't have the heart for it.

In other news, I'm one Robot Master away from reclaiming the second arcade game in MM:AC.

Eternal mode, with no time limit on the map.
Live and learn - or die and teach by example.

Nope. Take as many tries as you'd like.

edit: there's an eternal mode for all three maps, if you haven't gotten them.

Depends on how good your attention span is. The first quarter of the game seems to move at a slow pace. Most of it is sneaking around with very little plot advancement, so depending on how fun you find sneaking to be, it might turn you off. I found some of the sneaking portions to be a bit dull at first until I got the hang of stealth in a jungle environment, so I found getting into it to be hard.

However, once you hit a certain point, the plot takes off running, and the game really seems to figure out how best to balance the sneaking, boss fights, and plot all into one awsome experience. The further you go, the better it is. So if you can break through that slow hump at the beginning, the rest of the game will be what makes it awsome.

I might recommend renting it before buying it. Once you really get into it, depending on how much time you can invest, it takes about three or four days to beat (My game time was 18 hours and thirty minutes total, and the review of it I read said the guy took twenty-four hours to beat it). So if you rent it and beat it and don't plan on playing it again, or you rent it and get bored with it, it saves money.
