$670, FZ. You forgot the cost of the game.

Anybodty remember the NeoGeo or 3D0? Absolutley fabulous graphis, both systems were far ahead of their time, but their price sank them and caused them to die a quick death.

Neo-Geo first came out for about $400 dollars in a time when the SNES typically sold for under 200.

The Neo-Geo also came with two controllers and a choice between a sports game or some military action game, if I remember right.

Ahh, well played, I had forgotten to include that.

Seriously, I wanted the PS3 to do well. Blu-Ray tech sounded awsome allowing bigger and more complex games, Cell technology was supposed to improve quality drastically, and MGS4 at least was going to give it one awsome game relativly quickly.

Instead it is a console of lies and broken dreams. There is nothing for me there anymore.

I thought you liked Broken Dreams.

... if nothing else Broken Dreams really needs to be the name of some kind of game.

Broken dreams are great when they're not my broken dreams.

And it does sound like the name of a game...

Not quite 200, but it was at least near the 80 dollar price range per game I believe.

I think all Sony has going for it right now are rabid fan boys, like a friend of mine. "Dude, it'll do well because it's Sony. They wouldn't screw up."

He's still my friend, but I do feel the need to slap him sometimes.

Well, they are stepping up game production to try and compete with Nintendo. Thats a plus. Some of the newer titles recently announced are pretty awesome, but yeah, it still comes down to the whole copying, insane price, and poor reliability thing doesn't it?

The final nail in the coffin would be some sort of horrible protection service that screws up legally bought games.

They're already killing the used game market, or was that just an overhyped lie?

I don't think it was that much, but it was pretty high.

Replace Sony with Nintendo and you have me. *giant goofy grin*

Seriously though, I own PS2, X-Box, and Gamecube, and I have plenty of games for them all. (okay, barring the X-Box, I only have 4 games for that) Sony has alot of games that I enjoy alot, and eventually I plan to buy one. There just has to be a very large price drop, or I have to come obtain alot of money.

That was a pretty fucked up game. And I didn't think it did well, so I'm stunned it's getting a sequal...

It had lots of sequels in japan.
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

Well... It's Japan.

I guess what I'm shocked by is a sequal is coming here.
