Hells yeah, I still got it. First time playing SSBM in a while, at least against anyone who's played before (tried to convert my heathen roomate who sucks at consoles), and I owned. ...now, just have to form a school organization and rent out the theater and have a smash bros tourney on the silver screen. That would be awesome. |

Sony is getting Oblivion for PS3 and an Oblivion like game for PSP. This would be good news for them if everyone who wanted the game didn't already have it. |

What the eff? An... RTS... On the 360? Ha ha ha ha ha! Oh Microsoft, your stupid antics never cease to amuse me. You can't make an RTS for a Console. |

Silly Red, I'm never wrong. And anytime I am wrong is really your feeble mind unable to cope with when I'm right. Besides, Halo has like 2 units and three vehicles for each side. That does not a game make. Now, if they make it some sort of FPS/RTS combo like Savage, THAT could be interesting... |

It will suck... But it will also sell. Halo has become the FF of the FPS genre. Slap its name on something and BAM insta sales. |

The Turn-Based Advance Wars games don't count. Unless there's something else on the DS. I don't own one. |

There are in fact several low profile RTS games for the DS. Age of Empires comes to mind. |

The stylus is a good replacement for the D-pad. It's on par with using a mouse on the PC. If the Halo game had some sort of mouse support, then I retract my statement. The main problem with Console RTSes is the lack of a quick tool for selecting and commanding armies. You need something with both precision (Selecting specific units, activating special powers) and speed (When one power can mean the difference between winning a skirmish and losing it, speed is of the essence). The Stylus and Touch-Screen can pull that off, a D-pad and buttons cannot. |

Oddly enough I can actually agree with FZ on this. The tactical battles in Suikoden V were really annoying in that respect... that system needed a lot of work, tho'. |

I would argue that due to the simplicity and familiarity of the movement, styluses are actually BETTER than mouses for RTS control. |

So wait, it's odd to agree with me on something? Thanks a lot, your support is appreciated. ![]() And actually, I retract my statement. I still think the Halo RTS is going to suck, but as for Console RTSes in general if they had some sort of mouse support it would help a lot. EDIT: Debatable. Depends on the complexity of the RTS. |

No, I meant mostly that I've got so little experience with any sort of RTS system that normally I'd have nothing to say at all on the subject. ![]() And styluses are probably better, although it's mostly because people learn to use a pen before they learn to use a mouse. ...or they used to. Who knows anymore. |

You could preset button combos for units and attack types. |

I have enough trouble remembering all the units I have linked for Quick Selection (I usually have my Main Group button for mass attacks, and then I have quick selected other groups like Infantry, Vehicles, Artillery, Special Units, and usually a secondary group I use to flank foes, which changes depending on the game obviously), adding specific buttons that specific groups use would be a bit beyond my level of complexity. EDIT: I prefer typing to writing, and thus tend to be better with a mouse then with a pen in matters, so it all is a matter of practice and preference. |

I think Nintendo is rubbing off on them alittle. And I cant think of anything more plausible than a FPS/RTS, if it has that it will kick ass, if not....GOOD HELL WHAT WERE YOU IDIOTS THINKING!? |
