...I liked the Amazing Mirror... ...It was Nightmare in Dream Land that sucked. |

Meh, I don't like the 1-2 hits kills everything routine, or the fire/ice/etc powers. Why couldn't they adapt more superstar powers? WHY?!?!! |

Amazing Mirror did have more Superstar powers. At least, it did compared to all the other Kirby games. But really, I liked it for the Multiplayer. They did that really well. |

You mean the different colored Kirby one? I must say I was amused to randomly run into the other ones in the middle of a level and such |

I meant that as "more than they did". And half translating the powers is almost as bad as translating none. Now its just horribly imbalanced. |

True. They could have done better. But... the game's not even out yet... how do you know it's going to be that imbalanced. Also... Okay, I'm not as knowledgeable on this, so I don't know if I have the right one, but... Final Fantasy X-2. That is all. |

...oh. Well, be that as it may, I stand by my previous point that I'm probably going to buy it because it's a Kirby title. ...unless it really sucks that badly... |

Thats fair, if I recall correctly, I think the game might have supported single card play, which would mean the game WOULD have some use in terms of availability. Its just that if it comes as a choice between the two games, I'd pick the other one. Theres plenty of other good DS games and all. edit: Yup! Single card download play. Thats pretty good. edit: Theres also the fact that I've heard from people who have played it at various conventions and events. Apparently the power alchemy with the bubbles below either results in food stuff, weird things like bubbles, or a random power, you don't actually get brand new mixed powers from using the power mixer thing. Its essentially the same as using the "mix" ability in other kirby games. |

Kinda' sounds like the N64 Kirby game. Maybe I'm misunderstanding it, though. For the (internet) record, the only power that disappointed me in Amazing Mirror was Suplex/Throw. I was expecting the game-changing, Earth-crushing power of Super Star and, needless to say, it didn't live up to my expectations. |

Ah. The random ability. They make it sound better than it is. But who doesn't? |

So, I played the Battlefield 2142 Demo last night, and quite frankly, I'm non-plussed. The walking robots seemed meh, the vehicles handle like crap, and the soldiers get exhausted by crossing the street, the respawn system for vehicles is a pain in the ass, weapons seem underpowered, and so on, and so forth. The only redeeming factor of this disaster was the fact that Titan Mode is the coolest gameplay version ever. You first have to knock out the shields with massive missile launchers (Sadly they're automated, so you just have to take it and let it work), which leads to a Dominate style gameplay in the beginning. Once the shields are down, then air transports and APCs can launch troops into the ship, while heavy weapons and turrets on the ground can be manned to blast the external defenses of the Titan so that invading troops can get through. Once inside, troops battle their way to the 4 control panels that guard the ship's core, and then fight to destroy the core itself once the panels are knocked out. Once the core is destroyed, the allied troops inside have a short time to escape the Titan before it explodes (Which is pointless but still fun), and the destruction of the enemy Titan wins the round. If it wasn't for all the other glaring problems, this mode alone would sell it to me. |

No, did you not hear what I said about them not actually combining? The whole point was that its NOT like the N64 game. That just says to me that you overlocked some Super Star powers that were awesome. Fire and umbrella for instance. There isn't even a version of things like wing and yoyo, which were neat too. The powers in Amazing Mirror were, by and large, either powers from Kirby Adventure, or based off that schema for making powers. Exceptions are things like the smash ability, which was pretty good, or that sword thing, which was overpowered. Things like laser and fire and electricity, and umbrella, and sword and...theres just too many for me to remember without replaying the game. Anyways if you like Suplex, I'm sure you'll love whatever the heck that animal transformation thing is that they added to Kirby DS. |

Wait what? I liked Canvas Curse. And the whole point of having a kirby game is having a bunch of powers, ALL of which work or are liked. Not faithfully converting only "favorite" ones. If its done right then you will be able to use any power. I find it abhorent that someone would only care about the fate of specific, personal powers. Thats just not how I play. I like to find the hidden strength or weaknesses of powers. If you account for long term consequences, quite frankly, its the only ethical thing to do. |

Yes, that would help alot. As for FZ, yeah, we know:-) I probably would just buy one extra controller and get 3 games or something though(note: I didn't actually add up those prices, I'm just guessing here that 2 controllers + all that other crap should add up to around that). |
