All pokemon you say? Whats the count now?

Off the top of my head...

493.

I believe that's right...

*checks*

Yeah, it's right.

Whatever happened to nice round numbers?

You mean round numbers like 151, 251, and 386?

I know it's old news, but I'm STILL pissed about Portrait of Ruin being pushed back to December...

while I did think half a year or so between games was WAY too short a period of time, it was still shitty of them to make me think I'd have the pleasure of starting a new CV game on Hallowe'en again....
Mrs. Limburger : Crashing, and banging, all kinds of weird noises. Howling, moaning, frightful grunting, things falling out of closets, all over the place!

Peter : Sounds like my weekend.

Woohoo, I got Bully

(hiss and boos from peanut gallery)

*eggs peanut gallery*

Now where was I...ah, well basically you first friend is an ADHD(supposedly, but I think its jut a teeny bit more than that) sociopath that wishes to take over the school, who eventually stops taking his medication...which leads to him turning on you and sick the leader of the bully faction on you. Ofcourse after soundly beating the crap out of the head-first charging idiot that lacks ability to use full sentances, all bullies are now afraid of you. (plain kids in white shirts) And then it goes on with the bastard making up lies about you insulting people's mothers to get them to beat on you. Oh, and there are several moments where I really prefer I wasnt there...(kissing Gruindice, feeding a dog month old meat, accidently leaving a tire mark over a little girls face....IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!) So...meh.

I won't deny what he says is true, those problems exist in all genres.

I don't read it, yet atleast. I would like to know how he rates the difficutly of games though. Any game is easy once you beat it you know.

Thats not true. Easier yes, not necessarily easy. Second, the game doesn't really have a difficulty value at all, winning does. Winning is determined by your goal, so choose a harder goal.

Class goal
{
   private:
      int difficulty
...
   public
      isdifficult(int target)
      {
       return difficulty >= target && target >0;
}
...
}

yeah think up a bunch of those.

...Weee, feel free to flesh out my code!

But once you break the system, all you have to do is modify that break to suit the challange.

Theres your trick then. As humans, we have differing levels of skill at that modifying part. There are still those pesky human limitations that get at us.

Playing magic has been bad for my gaming...It makes me break things faster.

Well, if you set your goal to continually more difficult tasks, the breakability should follow suit, and thus you should always have new goals, unless you've somehow hit a ceiling(your potential). As humans, our potential can change with time, however(usually, it degenerates though=/)

edit: Actually, any game should have multiple simultaneous goals like get faster, smarter, more spatially aware, more random, etc. Theoretically, these have infinite or near infinite potential. Speed for instance, has that pesky light limit, but I doubt you've reached that, eh eh? Actually I take that back, since we're talking specifically videogames, then obviously there are upper limits to the system itself(so more like.... you vs the processor, or more precisely, the framerate, I don't think you compute that fast).

...ok, as I get more specific about the goal, I admit it becomes more reachable.

still.

Faster is not always better.

I could always be smarter, and more Spatially aware but between Akroma and Mono Blue Control being insanely powerful again in magic I think my awareness is going to get enough exercise in the next year.

Speed is one of the best ones to set goals for though.

Every game has a different limit, which makes it fun.

Thats the thing I feel no accomplishment in doing something faster. I tend to not even pay attention to how fast I do things, Except at work.
