Planning on grabbing a machete when you come back as a zombie then?

... seems effective.

Hey, when you're falling apart at the seams, its hard to crack the damn skull open empty-handed. And those rude corkscrew manufacturers have yet to make a head sized one.

Yeah but thats also a problem when your trying to make or find a machete. Except now you have to worry about your zombie-like intelligence too. I'd rather just beat them over the head with whatever the hell is at hand or gnash my teeth or use my claws.

Not if I stipulate in my will to be burried with one. And low zombie inteligence is only a problem if you hire one of those discount services.

I suppose that works, but if your going to get buried with your stuff why not go all out? You could work with an Egyptian motif and become a mummy. You should totally get a sarcophagus and a pyramid.

Yeah, but you need a dry climate to get a good preservation going, 'relse it all falls apart under the weight and ya decintigrate. And do you realize how far Disney HQ is from the Sahara if your only mode of transportation is shuffling?
Not to mention the technically still standing edict from King Saul never for a Jew to set foot in Egypt, nor to have trade with them...

How about a vampire then? Oh wait, then you'd have to find another vampire and get bitten, plus the constant cravings...

Werewolf? Nah, insomnia is hell.

Skeleton? Too weak.

Ghost? Too incorpreal.

Lich? Getting somewhere, but no thanks on the whole sensory loss thing. I want my to taste my apples thanks. Then again I suppose its better than zombie.

Wight? No, they don't really do much except guard stuff or seek revenge.

Ghoul? Too random. They don't really seem to have much control over their appearances.

Devil/Demon?
Hrmm. Well torturing souls might be fun. Theres the whole "you live in Hell" thing though.

Angel? Too HARD. Besides, Seraphs are freaks.

Blah. I give up.

Lich is fine if you store your soul in your hair.
It won't grow, anyway. Being dead and all.

Don't worry, if the Bison ever take over the midlands Godzilla will take care of them. Just like he did with Bambi.

Malia Weinhagen talking about her father Dave Arneson

"The biggest thing about my dad's world is he wanted people to have fun in life," Weinhagen said. "I think we get distracted by the everyday things you have to do in life and we forget to enjoy life and have fun.

"But my dad never did," she said. "He just wanted people to have fun."

Acording to The Monsters Of Magic, that was only the one Lhurgoyf. It was a monstrosity, Saffi and Hans killed its children and stole its egg, hired a mercenary friend of Jaya to take it down, Jaya transfered Hans' sentience into the Lhurgoyf. All other Lhurgoyfs are nonsentient.
*the more you know*
edit: But where's the fun in that?

Man, people sure act like dicks to monsters.

Kill its kids, steal its eggs, and hire some guy to kill it.

To be fair, it looked like an emerald. And it being an ice age, and them being hunter-gatherers, they thought that it was just a shiney rock that they could sell so they could buy a building and "never be cold again!"

Yeah, but as soon as Hans' sentience was transferred, he went to a life of squirrel hunting and living in trees, and the Lhurgoyf became a "magical protector monster of town X" type thing, so it all worked out.
