HEY! I don't think I saw any wave dashing. ^.^! edit: I don't think it has ANY airdashing. That would make me very happy. edit: IN FACT, you can't even see any of the new moves that were introduced in melee! No hammer for Kirby, no nada! |

...Because less movement options are a good thing? Also, what's "air-dashing?" You mean dodging? Regardless, just because something wasn't present in a trailer doesn't mean it's not possible in game. Unless I missed something, there was no shielding used during the trailer either, and I would strongly doubt that has been removed. Edit: There was no third paragraph. |

Sorry, I was in such a rush I mixed my teminology. And it caused a horseshit load of problems dude. Do I have to repeat my spiel about SSB being so much more BALANCED character per character, and in some ways more fun? |

No, no that's okay. I'll just continue thinking how I disagree with you on both points, and consider the original Smash Bros. too clumsy and limited in light of Melee. Given that this is the internet, we're both highly unlikely to change one another's mind, regardless of the strengh of are arguements or the passions therein. With this in mind, I suggest use the little noticed (on the internet) ability to agree to disagree. So, while I certainly cannot stop you from responding, if you choose to do so, I cannot guarantee that you would receive a response. |

Fucking Mewtwo stands a chance against Fox. Now, I don't know if you mean having intercourse with Mewtwo will make him stand a chance against Fox, or that was just some added colour to Mewtwo, but it's been said. |

There used to be an image here telling you to vote, but then Photobucket, the image site made to allow you to do third party hosting, no longer allows third party hosting without throwing a shitload of money at them... and I can barely afford to eat. So no you get some text of me bitching about it, yaaay! Also, go vote. Everyday I'm tumbl'n. "This bitch is makin' me all Paru..." ~Hang in There, Kogasa-san! | |

And I'll reitierate, fucking Mewtwo stands a chance. In fact, if I recall, I've seen good arguements that Mewtwo could acctually be an effective counter-character to Fox. That example aside, tiers are predominately an expression, usually an imperfect one, of the most the crazy-ass uber skilled players if they can play in unrealisticly perfectly balanced enviornment. It's far more likely it will come down to who can move or think faster, or whom can reach an more advantageous position. Tiers will always seem exist where playstyles differ. And are you really kidding yourself that things we're that more balanced in SSB? Are you really going to say that it's not a lot more easy to stomp ass with Falcon, Ness or Kirby, then someone like Link or Jigglypuff? Bullshit I say! SSB Jiggly was a half-assed underpowered Kirby clone(she had her strengths, absolutely, but they we're buried under weaknessess), and you know what? She was my main character, not because she was absolutely dominating, or even perfectly on edge, but because she was fun. Say have you considered that? That some people might just have fun playing on an uneven field and still kicking ass? I guess I have to admit, though, it seems you were right. We do not seem to be able simply to choose to agree to disagree. |

Its easy to do that. I was questioning whether TRUE compromise was possible or not. I say it is. You just don't have to be close minded. Also, Jiggly has some nice stuff. Throw to sleep was a bitch. And as it happens Link has ALOT of shit going for him. Especially in his SSB version. Sure he lacked a good recovery, but your missing alot of obvious stuff. Also, jiggly has some special advanced moves all of her own. Something about being able to jump backwards while turning around caused her to move through the air faster or something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTCBRoEw2oA |

Kirby is overbalanced? Whenver I've faced a Kirby player they never seem to be hard for my Link player. Now Fox is pure cheapness and Jigglypuff I heard can be. Also how is Link not a good character? Good speed, good strength, has quick weapon time, his spin attack is great for creating distance and his character shield can nullify any long distance attack. |

In the original SSB Kirby was a BEAST. Then they nerfed him. |

In the original SSB my comment stands. Basically 3 of us would play alot, one of us with Kirby, one of us with Pikachu and the other with Samus. Pikachu and Samus kicked alot of Kirby ass. |

Plus what about Mario, Pikachu, and C. Falcon. You can't tell me their bad. And if you think DK is bad you just really don't know him. edit: eh, kirby is easy to learn difficult to master. He and Pikachu are definately the top of the tier list yo. |

Pikachu got worst in meele and in that game I started becoming a Link and Fox user, though I can play any character pretty much competently. |

Pikachu DID lose some stuff in his thunderbolts, but he actually remained alot closer to his 64 kin. Kirby got entire moves nerfed or removed. Crappy fireball dash, crappy fair, crappy stone, crappy cutter, reduced smash, not exactly improved rolls... edit: omg rofl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDdQMq7Uqk0 |

...I liked Kirby's fireball dash. I don't know why, but there's something about it that's better than his running attack in 64. ... ...also, who thinks that the Smash Bros. franchise needs to branch out and not *just* do fighting games. ... Not that they should stop doing fighting games or anything, don't get me wrong here. I'm just saying, anyone think we'd be up for a Smash Bros. racing-type game in the future? Maybe not the near future, but still... |
