Impossible. Joke characters, as a general rule, have to be hidden characters. Union rules. |

Really, you get enough loot to get the equipment you need once you get to your destination. There are merchants everywhere. I only ground once, in the first mines you get to, where I killed the skeletons on the second bridge a lot. Got 127 chain I did. ...and how did you like the second Demon Wall, then? Of course, I was incredibly dissapointed by how much easier the boss of the tombs is than either Demon Wall. It took several Quickening Combos to take out the walls, only one to take out the boss. As for classes: "Lamont" is probably a chemist considering the hi-potions he throws around (which are thanfully not yours). Balthier is probably more a Pirate/Gunner than a Thief. Or his class is "Leading Man". Heh. And when you get the next guest, Vossler, he's probably a Knight or sommat, considering his penchant for heavyarmor and giant swords. Also, Basch has the battle thong. Otherwise, I like his design. He's awfully skinny and malnourished looking for being my most physical fighter, though. |

Well, he was a prisoner in that thing for two years. It's understandable. Although, I don't know about you folks, but FULMINATING DARKNESS was one of the first things I bought for Basch. Entering the Mines now. With five potions. It's good to hear that "Lamont" is tossing around "his" own hi-potions like mad. I enjoy that. Current party (I haven't put much thought into the License system, just buying whatever I see that sounds good...: Balthier- Leader 1. Ally: HP <30%. Potion (+Potion Lore 1). 2. Foe: Closest. Attack. Vaan 1. Ally: MP <20%. Ether. (Wish I had some...) 2. Ally: HP <50%. Cure. 3. Foe: Leader's target. Attack. Basch 1. Foe: Leader's target. Attack. 2. Foe: Closest. Attack. I found that ganging up on enemies works wonders. ... Any suggestions on Licenses or Gambits? I have no money, but should after this dungeon. Also, it occurs to me that I don't know if Vaan would use an ether on himself with that Gambit... |

Vaan would ether himself there if you had one. As for licenses... for a lot of the early game, you won't have more than four or five things on the bottom weapon/armor board, and should be focusing on augments (there's three mp-10%s, and two action time -10%s, as well as battle and magic damage bonuses, and plenty of HP bonuses). Or at least... the first thing you should shoot for is getting quickenings. Quickenings for your mains or for everyone. I spread them out first, but now everyone has their full set of three. Tides of Fate and Element of Treachery are awesome. (*whistles, summons giant wave* "Heads up!" *crash* or *splits into three, summons giant meteor* "Here she comes!" *boom*. Much better than the boring quips or grunts everyone else makes. It's the way he says it that makes it so awesome the most, though.) The two Quickenings in the staff section should be hard to get, along with the farthest armor one behind the 150 LP genji armor slot, and one of the magic ones close to the white magic. The other 14 ones shouldn't be as hard to get. Get them fast, too, because they're powerful. |

It's the sequel to Castlevania Legends, wherin you play an older Christopher Belmont who is erroneously 2x faster than his previous incarnation. Also known as the only Castlevania that lets you choose which of four levels to play at the beginning. |

I don't even know what to do for the Quickening move. And all I have is Basch's from the opening. EDIT: Also, the SSBB trailer makes me wonder. Are those ten characters going to be the starting line-up? |

Quickenings start getting much better when you have more'n one of them, for more'n one person. You get to press x, square, or triangle depending on who might be able to do the next move (colored white). Not to mention you can get people who are already out of MP to do more quickenings by using "mist charges" when they pop up. |

You don't actually need them. ...in fact, one might go on to say they make some things too easy. While one-shotting bosses can be fun, there's no strategy, there's no thinking, no challenge. Though truth be told, I only had a couple by the point where you're at. It wasn't until the sandseas that I actually started getting all of them. And if you want to beat the first demon wall, you probably want to get some by then. (also, note, if you beat the first demon wall, there's a chest that apparently has a small chance to drop a great sword for that point in the game. I only just found this out, though.) (on another note, I also just found out about the whole "zodiac spear" thing, where if you open certain chests you can't get it later in the game, and it's the best weapon) |

I'm flying blind here, but I looked up how to do Quickenings in theory. I just want to get one for everyone. And it's close to the five party members I have. So... Level grinding near the save crystal in the Leviathan brig? Don't mind if I do! EDIT: Vaan needs a level-up or three anyways. He's level 8, and everyone else is level 11. |

I just brought myself Contact. Its proven to be quite interesting. It has a good stat leveling system going on. I have read that this game is Wi-Fi compatable but I haven't tried that part yet. Its pretty nice how they made the game as I see it so far, I need to get farther though... I also brought Childeren of Mana today but haven't touched it yet. |
