Hmm... I was considering that. When I first played it on the PS1, I really wanted really wasn't that impressed with the game. Even when I tried again, years later, through roms, the mechanics of the game seemed somehow... Lacking.

I just didn't find at all that fun.

*Discovers glitch that raises main character to level 99.

:O_O:

YES!

...There's a glitch that does that!?

BAH! I raised my Hero to level 99 THE HARD WAY! :P

What happened was, I levelled up for ages, and decided to go play that board game thing, cause lots of enemies were dropping tokens.

I go in, end up battling two slimes. The first runs, the second dies. At this point, the hero levelled. Over and over again. I would have reset, but too much time had been devoted to it, and I didn't feel like going through it again.

o.o

Well, I was going to get Drakengard 2, but my EB Games didn't have it. But they had Drakengard 1, so I bought it. Along with the limited edition FFXII guide (because I'm a whore.)

I was re-reading CNES from the beginning, and you know I don't think I have ever seen the guy who tells you who is going to win the races in Crono Trigger ever be right.

So, Elite Beat Agents.

Every stage is like a boot made of condensed awesome kicking the crap out of me,
while a hammer of purest madness mercilessly pounds my brain.

So why isn't there more love for it on this thread?!  Buy it now, you fools!

Three simple words: EUROPEAN RELEASE DATE!

I was linked to the preview site last night and it looks like several kinds of awesome.

Man, too much awesome scenery in tp, TOO MUCH AWESOME.

*head blows up ala MechaMage*
edit: Even the gameplay. I never thought I'd say this about a 3d Zelda game, but even the freakin' gameplay looks sweet.

So... bought and played Children of Mana this weekend.

It's a fun game, and the questing system works like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon's, so it's good. I'm not very far in, but I'm liking it so far.

Way too many games to ask for this Christmas...
Mrs. Limburger : Crashing, and banging, all kinds of weird noises. Howling, moaning, frightful grunting, things falling out of closets, all over the place!

Peter : Sounds like my weekend.

I've actually heard really bad things about Children of Mana, Mike. If it's pretty good after a little while, I might need to put it on my to by list.

What bad things did you hear about it Cyrus? The only bad thing I got from playing it was the multiplayer is not wi-fi compatable.

I can handle that, the only thing I can see wrong about it is the repetitiveness of the levels after getting all the weapons.

The repetitiveness I see are in the inital quests for a dungeon as in if you die or accidently warp out(all progress lost to the extent of where you last were but you keep items and levels), the "zones" as they call em are the same. But this is only for the first story based quest to a particular dungeon.

All other quests you get to a dungeon randomize the zones a bit even though you can still see quite a bit of similarity to some of the zones but usually not the order of the zones.

Eh.

I can't count the times I've gotten the exact same zone twice in a row. Hell, sometimes with the exact same requirements.

I have had 1 zone show up 3 times with the same requirement for passing em.

Edit: 3 times straight I mean.

I found this on the GameFAQs message boards.

Quote:

Anytime you land on a [?] or a [!] while playing Pachisi (spelling in the game; get over it) and bring your strength down by 1, you will level up to the next codex plateau of the game. If you are the Hero, you will level up to 52-55. If you are above 60 when you do it, you will go all the way up to 99. Any other party members will usually go straight to 99. Your stats will suck. You will have one maxed out stat if you're fortunate and will therefore be forced to find/pick up/steal stat changing seeds to make your character worth having.

Sounds about right. My hero is one hit killing almost everything, though.

Plus he has Healusall. Which rules.
