It's not that bad, and she's worn less. Not that I don't put it past them to give her a bathing suit alternate costume, but really, wait until then or someone uses a cheating device to paint the suit skin colored to call it petty. |
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

And basically it turns her into a Shiek clone EDIT: You know I never thought about how hard Nintendo will work against hacking considering the online service is free |

Nintendo is, infact, anti cheating. They make the game to be enjoyable, without cheat codes, and don't appreciate you changing that. But... I wonder why they wouldn't want you to play wireframe? |

So I picked up a copy of Metal Saga for the PS2 today. So far, it's a pretty weird game. Imagine if you crossed Earthbound's bizzare characters, a Mad Max post-apocalyptic vehicular scenario, and Cowboy Bebop's world of bounty hunting, and you very roughly have this game. You take on the role of a Hunter, basically a bounty hunter type that chases after Boss type monsters with bounties on their heads. While you can gain levels and upgrade your characters with new equipment and special abilities, the main part of the game is actually upgrading your vehicles, and tracking down bigger, better vehicles. If you try and head into the wastelands without a vehicle, you'll get beaten down pretty fast even if your gear is decked out. So far, the plot is thin, at best, although it does have a variety of endings (In the first two hours of gameplay, I've found at least two ways to trigger a cutscene and a sort of Epilogue type summary of what happens to the main character). At each town you go to, you get a vague suggestion of places to look at and things to do, as well as a general idea of where the next town is which you can check out once you finish in your current town. The Hunter's Guild will tell you local Bounties you can hunt after, which are the bosses of the game, and they typically are found in the field instead of locked away in dungeons. Instead of being railroaded along a plotline, you can sort of take it as you go, and while not all people will like this system, I'm liking it so far. Combat is simple, which can either be a good or bad thing. While you can fight in or out of your vehicles, the main advantage of fighting out of your vehicle is the ability to use Special Attacks, which instead of costing MP or having limited uses cost money. Rather outrageous amounts of money, considering their limited strength (The main hero can call down an energy blast from a satellite, but this attack costs 200 gold and only does about twice the damage you normally do (Although it seems to have a high chance to crit for three times the damage you do normally). Therefore, as much of the game as possible should be spent in your vehicle, which has better armor and weapons. However, vehicles can be upgraded to be lighter, to carry different weapons, to carry more ammo, and a variety of other things, so there is still plenty to do. Overall, I would say this game isn't bad at all, and anyone interested should give it a rental. |

Hey cool, I'd always been bothered by the lack of terrain in Zelda I. I like gametrailers explanation, that ganon had won "the war" and thus destroyed hyrule(physically anyways) ... However, the lesson learned here is that you shouldn't mess with time unless your Link, heh. edit: OOOH SO MANY IDEAS. Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons Hero of time, Hero of Wind Yup it works.=D Also, I'm of the opinion LttP needs to go back to the other half of the timeline because you end up fighting ganon in the sacred realm. I bet the twilight realm we keep hearing about *is* the sacred realm, after all Link technically never repaired that world at the end of lttp. edit: yupyup the master sword not existing in one half of the timeline after oot. Yeah, I like their timeline, its good. It just needs LttP moved over like they first suggested, and its perfect. |

Huh. So... what you're saying is... ...or at least it makes me think... what if the guys at Nintendo have been planning this huge time-paradox story for Link since the beginning? |

Trust me, its good. One thing that occurs to me, probably someone thought of this, but could the "evil wizard" that sleeps Zelda in Zelda II possibly be Vaati? Just a thought from the picture after watching it again. In any of the Vaati related games does he actually disapear for good? edit: random thoughts: You know in link to the past(OMG the name FINALLY makes sense now! Except like, he should be link to the future(adult link, heh). So does the description. Its a prequel... sort of! Isn't that what Miamoto said?!?!) I totally just solved the timeline. I've got: Link himself(only one Link in timeline a) Vaati aka evil wizard 2 Zeldas Ganon's existance and "death" in all the timelines The Master Sword The weird scenery in Zelda I The flood and new hyrule, as in the other timeline, hah. It occurs to me that things are happening relatively similiar in each timeline. The only difference is that in the post-adult link timeline Ganon has control and access to the resources of the sacred realm. He still manages to kick the crap out of hyrule, but afterwords gets defeated by Link, and things return to normal. He still does some very similiar things in both timelines, and they still have to make a new hyrule. Possibly explaining the 3 different hyrule names. In fact, I would put LttP and the end of timeline B because Ganon ends up dead-dead again. It would explain the existance of the third name, they made a new hyrule after the flood. I guess Aghnahim(how the hell was his name spelled?) is Vaati v2 in that timeline. He DOES put Zelda to sleep before sending her to the dark world. It would also explain why she had to be selected. She is a sage. The sages seal is holding, probably reinforced after TP.
edit: gah, anyways, gotta go. |
