I am only just getting out of the Leviathan but he is in my top ten list already. Though Setzer is still the MAN. |

You're dead to me, MFD! DEAD TO ME! You like cursing and womanizing as FAVORITE CHARACTER TRAITS? Wait... then... yeah... If video games are escapism, then does that mean that you're secretly a nun? Edit: I thought Geshtahl was THe Man, being the head of a large empire close to idea of an opressive regime that the term came about to describe? |

Look at the list. MFD seems to like the "womanizing cool guy" stock character. Or the "rough and cursing on the outside but with a heart of gold" stock character. Irvine is in the first category. Edit: But thats like being the smartest contestant in the Special Olympics. |

Han Solo and Indiana Jones ARE my favorite heroes of all time. I mean, this isn't really news. ... I also liked Zidane and Vivi. They should be on the list. Also, Balthier gets major points for agreeing with me that he's the main character. He calls himself the "leading man" all the time. |

Because although he womanized, he was nowhere near sucessful or determined at it. Seriously, all he ever hit on was old friends and the one girl he was in love with. The other "womanizer" types on your list hit on everything with two legs and two breasts. |

Not exactly. Spoiler warning, I guess: I remember one scene where the FFXI party had to confront a female enemy (it could have been Beatrix, or some female assassin that Queen Brahne hired along with Amarant, my money rests on the latter) and Zidane hits on her. He got scolded by Garnet immediately after, but it happened. So...yeah. (I remember the most random shit) |

Ahh, right. Forgot about that. But the point that he had a steady, stable relationship, despite deviations, proves an important diferance between him and the other Womanizer Types, who refused to be tied down. |
