Okay, finally finished FFXII, and I just wanted to say...

Balthier is officially my favorite Final Fantasy hero EVER.

(for reference, the previous holder of this title was Cid Highwind)

Also, once again, damn Square to hell for making this a GOOD game after the travesties of X, X-2, and XI... I wanted so much to hate this game so I could write Squaresoft off forever. Now I'm going to have to keep getting their games. Damnitall.

I think the Wii can revolutionise the genre of street fighting as we know if, if only someone would implemnt the controller correctly...

I looked and saw that they are releasing the new Mortal Kimbat game for Wii and was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if you semi performed moves, simmilar to the new DBZ game? imagine playing street fightewrer and making a sonic boom, Mortal Kombat and screaming GET OVER HERE as you reach out and press a button releasing your spear, Crouching and shaking making Blanka go into electricution mode, PERFORMING E. HONDAS 100 HAND SLAP!

The wii controller can allow for these wonders, A point probven by a series I'm not planning on buying, DBZ....

After replaying Amazing mirror for a bit, I will say this in Squeak Squads favor.

more changes were made to the mechanics than I thought.

In paticular, bombs ability to repeatedly throw bombs mid air is new... as is the ability to do dashing moves by double tapping mid-air(probably more a bug than a feature but I like it). Good job on that overall(though metal is a disaster). The games still piss poor short though, and theres too many missing powerups for me to like it.

edit: plus theres no freaking multiplayer and its easy. GRR! Still, I hope they use this version of the bomb powerup again. It was really well done. Same with a note about excessive damage for cutter. This game got raped by blind fanboyism, I think. Its obvious from which powers got all the attention.

Strange, KSS was actually my favorite Cutter... Guess I'm kinda weird there...

Either way, I've never really been a Cutter fan. Sir Kibble was cool, though.

Meh I say its weak only because thats the public opinion. In reality I think its pretty good. Just a little funky to use sometimes. Its rated low over at rainbow resort and on the kss faqs, plus the fans always bug about it. Yeah its one of the black sheep in that game, along side beam(which totally kicks butt on CP as far as I'm concerned, RAIN DEATH FROM ABOVE MWHAHAHAHAHA)

Man, Kingdom of Loathing is quite hard to continously do as well as figuring out what stats are needed to kill wich monster.

I decided to put this here because I am in the solo part of it still.

Killed the Bonerdagon at level eight on KoL.

I'm not certain whether that's a low level or not.

Finally defeated Suioden V, in the amazing time of a little over 83 hours.

(I putz. A lot. And it's bleeding Suikoden.)

Didn't get all 108, but I got a decent percentage for a first try.

Overall, a good game. Good plot.

...until the end. When they decide they're totally out of ideas and just let the player win, with some horribly cheesy, cliched crap tossed in there to make it feel like the game wasn't over yet.

Seriously, it should've been over before the final dungon... which, despite having to split into three groups, wasn't that hard, or interesting... the last duel right before the final boss was stupidly retardedly easy.

(sneak up behind me for a super move, eh? Well, I guess you shouldn't be so blantantly obvious with how you announce your moves, then! And you also probably shouldn't've done Special four times right before it, either.)

If you pretend that retarded 'epilogue' doesn't exist, definitely a good game.

...then you fight a giant butterfly.

It's a moth...

*coughs*

Falena is apparently Italian for moth, so...

But yeah, it gets a lot cheesier if you have all 108.

Oh, a giant moth.

...forgive me.

...although I don't know if I want to play through it again to get all 108 if it's even CHEESIER...

(spoiler)...was there a REASON for Lyon to randomly drop dead after the boss fight? It didn't seem to make any sense to me. Was it because I let her fight Dolph?
