...oh. Sorry. It's often hard to tell, y'know, over teh intarweb. Wait, about it being boring, or about having a party of four geomancers? Because I was jokingly responding to the latter as well. Former? Geomancer one. |

To be fair, it was easier for me with three Dragoons and one White Mage. Generally, because Garuda likes to cheat with Lightning, and I needed a way to keep my Jumpers alive when they landed. |

I don't like making two people the same class. I had a Dragoon, Geomancer, White Mage, and Scholar. Pretty effective. With that team, beating Garuda was easy. Beating Garuda with my whole team intact...not so much. |

What's a few heads in the name of victory? All you need to win is one still attached to a pair of shoulders (not necessarily the original pair) |

Yeah... I hope I get the Earth Crystal back soon. I've decided to have my characters stick with their classes until I see one I like better. Wind Crystal- Luneth (Thief), Arc (WM), Refia (BM), and Ingus (Warrior). Fire Crystal- Luneth (WM), Arc (Scholar), Refia (Ranger), and Ingus (Knight). Water Crystal (and current team)- Luneth (Dragoon), Arc (Scholar), Refia (Bard), and Ingus (Dark Knight). Being able to switch harps without losing a turn, as well as being able to dual wield knives and daggers, makes the Bard class infinitely more useful here than Edward was. Also, here's a trick to WMs nobody ever told me: they can cast infinite Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder spells if you have the appropriate staff and use it as an item. The BM class may also be able to do that, but I only noticed it with the WM class. Heh, making an all-dragoon party will take awhile, as will earning enough money to properly equip them. It'll also level me up. Sweet. ... Though, I don't think the armor shop is open, and I saved after the Enterprise crashed. I might start over if that's the case. My brother's borrowing the game from me anyways, so I might just restart it when I get it back. |

After I got the Fire Crystal I changed Ryu from Redmage to Geomancer but they are thematically the same just the Geomancer is a risk spellwise...but they have some nifty tech so far. |

No, the armor shop is in fact not open. However, after you meet the guest for that portion, two old men will give you some items in southwest saronia (they're both at dead ends), and in the smack middle of southeast saronia is the dragoon tower thing, which has a ton of dragoon-related equipment. The only shop that should be open is a weapon store that sells two kinds of spears in the northeast section. As for classes, now that I have the earth crystal (which is sadly quite a ways away for you, MFD), I've made everyone black belts for massive MP growth. When I finish powerleveling, it's back to ingus/knight, refia/dragoon, and changing to luneth/devout and arc/ninja. On an interesting sidenote, arc reached level 99 thief the exact battle after which I got the earth crystal. |

Damn you all, I want FF3. Anyway. The first dungeon is looking pretty good. I think the enemies are finally balanced. That is to say, they're easy to kill, but cause enough damage to warrant levelling up a little bit before going too deep into the damn place. |

Speaking of FF3 as well, for a moment... Does anyone here who has it have a wireless router/nintendo wi-fi dongle? I want to try out the missions that require the use of mognet, but I can't because I know no-one with the game |

Did you go to the top of the dragon tower? Because there should be several more sets worth. |
