So...I should try and get a job from them rather than any of those companies? Oh, and I magically guessed the lineage of the blue haired prosecutor in Justice for All, BEFORE knowing her name |

You know, if Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth wasn't so painfully arbitrary at times, it really would be a great game. If nothing else, they've done a great job of making it scary as hell (Possibly even more so then F.E.A.R. ... But only by a little), and some of the sequences are a blast (Battling Deep Ones on the cruiser is one of those gaming moments you'll wistfully recall when saying that new games just can't live up to the classics, and the first half of the Shoggoth fight was amazing). But there are too many times where if you don't do things in precisely the right order or in precisely the right way (You're telling me on the entire ship, there is only one item I can brace myself on when a big wave comes, when there's about a dozen things I can see at a glance that should work as well?), the game crashes to a halt until you figure out what you still need to do (This is an especially horrible sin in the Shoggoth fight, which is a fast and tense battle for large portions, but grinds to a halt at certain points until you do a certain thing just right to advance). Or rules that apply for some areas of the game don't apply to others (IE, I use my crowbar to pry open a stuck metal grate, but I can't use it on doors? And what's with the fact that there are indestructible windows right next to ones you can break? The inconsistency pains me). ... Of course, that isn't going to stop me from finishing it since I'm just about at the end of the game. Just a warning to anyone that might stumble on a copy. |

Bah, I am thinking since we had talked about The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind before that it may be good to get to try out. The only thing is that I don't know if its worth it or not. At IGN.com the reviews for Morrowind and its indivisual expansions scored about 8.8 on average (self estimation). Other then the IGN site, I looked at some mods for the game and most of em seem interesting. 2 things I need to do are, look up reviews from other places, and ask you guys who have played. Sooo... is Morrowind and its expansions worth it? |

Yeah, morrowind's pretty interesting. Tribunal was okay, but fell a little short. Bloodmoon, however, was pretty awesome. And in its later years, it started getting pretty badass mods. |

Not much, I think. THey is trying to phase the thing out fast for some reason. Save some of the games, too. They're selling some for as little as ten dollars, which means that any more common games would net you pocket change at best. |

Morrowind is a damn fine game... But when you hold it up to the polish of Oblivion, it kind of pales. That said, Morrowind has a very large base of free mods, which do things from adding incredible quest lines to awesome new gear (Where else can you wear Mandalorian Armor and wield a Gunblade while you cut down the God of a city?). Travel can be a pain in the ass if you have to go someplace without Fast Travel in place until you're rich enough to make some boots to speed you up. Also, I find the rate of advancement to be a lot slower in Morrowind then in Oblivion. |

Heh. guess I will get Morrowind or Oblivion sooner or later. On a different toppic: Heh, Kingdom of Loathing. I, blackdeathdraco (unintentinaly put all lowercase), am a level 11 Raindeer Threatener. Its quite a silly free online game thats not multiplayer and its good at keeping me occupided at times. Now if only I can find propper items to increase my adventures per day. |

Two words mate, girly drinks *downs a Pink Pony* And as for justice for all... I can't belive this, on the second case and I had concluded that SOMETHING was going on with Ini's plastic surgery, but I had thought she had given the surgeons Mimi's picture, not that it was actually MIMI who had given them Ini's picture. So...in the end Mimi's spirit could not be summoned as she was not dead yet...and this leaves it very clear that the revenge motive wasn't too flimsy as we first thought. For a sec I thought Ini had killed her own sister, but then why would Grey bring a pistol along for the seiance? Because he really did try to get rid of his nurse but failed...but she let him think he had succeeded. As a certain thief puts it "All the gears fall into place...", ain't it a wonder what nut cases they can create with today's technology? The plastic surgery that is and as in court cases not insane people. As for Frankenzia or whatever the hell her name is...well...they've had whips for a long time, doesn't make them any less-OW! OUCH! WTF!? THATS NOT CONFETTI! GAAARGH! *is whipped senselessly* |

First glimpse of Mario Party 8. "Lasso the barrels: Swing the lasso (Wiimote) in a circle, once you've got some momentum going, throw the lasso forward, grabbing a barrels for points (don't throw Wiimote)." ... I hate you. "Drink shaking: Simply shake the Wiimote up and down; fastest shaker wins." And Luppy wins this round. I can't quite figure out why. "Crank turning: Turn a crank as fast you can. Exactly the same as the similar WarioWare minigame." ... Worst. Minigame. EVER. Trust me on this one, folks. |

Not that surprising. Even at its (very low) peak, GC games/consoles weren't exactly in high-demand. |
