Gah, in La Mulana, I got the 3 moons set-up correctly but I still can't beat the giant boss in the Giant Mausoleum. I used the ark key on the thing it held to start the boss fight but I still can't find its weak point. |

Ok, here's how to beat Sakit (Giant Mausoleum Boss) He will shoot energy orbs at you 2 or 3 times The orbs will pulsate 5-6 times first slow (up to 4) then fast (5 and 6) then it will launch, stay on the ground under the platform because rocks will drop. Jump over the orbs He will then shoot his arm at the ground, stay on the platforms cause the debris will hit you if you are on the ground. Then climb the arm and hit his head. To take him down quicker get as close to his head as possible, turn around so you face away from his head and whip like crazy, the back of the whip will hit Sakit causing damage, you can get 6-7 hits per assault, he should go down fairly quickly if you do it correctly. I already know how to beat the 2 headed snake and the Dragon mine cart boss (experimented when I couldn't fight Giant's Mausoleum boss) I can't reach the Ankh Jewel in the Guidance Gate (1st Area) I know where it is but can't reach it because a damn wall is blocking the way. |

Read the skeleton on the wall on the opposite side of that floor. Edit: Ah never mind, I think I read it wrong. You need to go though the water level to get there I believe, I need to find the helm myself. |

Sonic for the PS3 is SO poorly made and programmed, it reminded me violently of some real stinkers for the NES. WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT, O M G. |

BDD: Go to the far right of the Giant's Mausoleum area and climb down the ladder. then you will enter a new area, keep climbing down and you will find the shop that sells the helmet (90 Gold) You can find the Conception Seal in the Water area Only problem is that you need something that increases speed to actually reach some areas in the Temple of the Sun. Another piece of advice: In the endless corridor, you need a special ROM to advance To easily get gold go to the area where you get the helmet and destroy one of the jars there, you get 30 Gold easily. (Once per game) |

I played Red Steel today... I really don't get why the critics blasted it. It is a good fun FPS... Any game wgere you shoot a stove causing it to blow up, causing the sprinklers to go off causing an enemy to slip is aok with me. Or where you have a jackass run at you with a sword and you just toss the gun to the side and slice him up. |

Alright, so I played Phantasty Star Universe recently... I've got to say, it is a crime against humanity that they charge for online play. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad game. Playing in Single Player, I was actually having a good amount of fun on my PC once I got over some of the most awkward controls ever (To shoot a gun while strafing, you practically need four arms. I eventually just settled on using a sword). There is a simplicity there that I appreciate as well, in that most of the customization is Weapon and Power based, and armor and such is kept simple. Also the fact that you can upgrade your little robot buddy back at your room into an ally that will fight beside you seems like a fun idea, and the character customization, while not massive, is acceptable. The whole "Episode" format to the main story is also somewhat entertaining (IE, the main story is presented as if you were watching an Anime show, including an opening to each episode, a closing, and a "Next time" blip at the end), and the story itself is interesting enough to keep me playing to find out what is going on. But as to the gameplay itself? There just isn't enough to it to justify paying for this game online, when if you look around you can find similar games that are not only free to play, but are also free to own (BOTS was the first thing that lept to mind when I started playing, and there was another game called Durval or something I played briefly that was very similar as well). While each weapon handles differently, and some bosses require some minor strategy (Platform type stuff, knowing when to pull back before the Special Move and then dodging fireballs and such to get back in range), every encounter so far has been little more then "Walk up to baddies, mash Attack until they die, repeat ad infinitum". |

Hmm... How are the controls compared to Phantasy Star Online series? Or have you played them? |

Never played any of them until now, and on the PC the controls are really awkward. However, if I had a game controller, I have a feeling it wouldn't be nearly so bad. |

From what I can tell about PSU, you cannot be a robot. And if I cannot be a four-meter-wide robot shooting various forms of bears with my pew-pew rifle, there is no reason to play it that I can think of. |

Well, the controls for PSO on the Gamecube were not very advanced. The most advanced rundown for a HUcast (android warrior, basically): 1: Buy the highest damage Sword-like weapon you can find, and the highest damage Dagger-like weapon. 2: Assign attack/item buttons to your preferance. 3: Equip the Sword-weapon for large mobs, and swap to dagger for singular threats. 4: Run up to bad guys, and do a three hit combo. 5: After combo, walk away in hopes you don't get hit (In higher difficulty settings this is nigh impossible) 6: Heal with items when necessary. *** This is mostly for solo-play. In multi-player, you would obviously have a Force (Mage) healing you and helping nuke the mobs. EDIT:
Wait...you CAN'T play as an Android? MOTHER FUCKERS! |
