Weren't you finding fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom? That's the same thing that was going on in the original game. |

I found exploring varied terrain of a Hyrule with ancient ruins to be more fun than the OCEAN. You can see the whole world. From your HORSE. Also, I felt that TP's resistance to using magic spells made Link more bad ass. Seriously. Zelda has to pray to the four guardian spirits for light arrows. Link doesn't even get them, reducing complaints about their power. Besides, the magic played a huge role in the game, from the magic of the goddesses, the Triforce's magic, the Twili's totem magic, and the Sheikah shamanism. Between which was stronger, which was cooler, etc., there was no story reason to give Link himself magic equipment. There was enough magic around him that I feel the game kept alot of the fantasy aspects. Grounding Link in reality was a good way to offset the presence of magic, though. As for Mask, uh... if you learned the Song of Inverse Time, you were never really interrupted in a dungeon by the time limit, I found. Though, I should maybe play through that game without the cheating song. EDIT: And as for the Triforce in WW, how was Hero of Winds Link supposed to have it already? He's not descended from Hero of Time Link. They're different bloodlines, and that's rather the point. I felt that similarly, the Zora/Rito connection had more to do with spiritual descendancy than biological. And FZ, the Zora would have swum down to far and fallen into old Hyrule. |

Boats > Horses. Always. And I don't think I ever learned that song... Or if I did, I forgot about it. Haven't played MM in years... EDIT: Touche about Old Hyrule. |

Using the Song of Inverse Time, I found it rather easy to complete multiple dungeons in a single day. Or at the very least, get halfway through another dungeon(weapon and all). my thoughts on TP: up until the last two twilit dungeons I was having fun. The Desert Temple and the Temple of Time in particular were just well themed and organized. I couldn't stand the Sky Temple, it reminded me of that 4th temple from Majora's Mask with its ugliness and bad music. The boss there was a joke as well. Oh well, I don't mind the non-magic Link, but I like magic Link too. I'm glad the Link universe is expanding to allow Link partners like Mina. I've wanted a Zeldaish game with two completely different characters(preferably with multiplayer, but this is cool) for awhile now. It'd be fun to try to use Link's equipment in tandem with another character and all. Yeah theres 4 swords, but the sameness of the characters and the equipment required to play it was annoying. I hope they make a DS/Wii version of 4 swords soon. Anyways, TP FINALLY filled up some plotholes and revealed some plot points we've all been expecting. I'm glad thats over with. Sword mechanics get an A+ and damn near perfect mark, but tools are rather lacking in this game, although not as bad as Wind Waker. Morning Star was a great fan service for me so thats a plus. Story was awesome. Puzzles were mostly lame with a few moderately good ones. B rating. I'd give the game a 9.4. |

I figured the Zoras transformed into birds because they started worshiping a flying dragon instead of a giant fish. A passing reference was made to the ocean being inhospitable to fish by Gannon, so the Zora wouldn't want to live there. And since Kokiri are constructed by an ancient tree anyways, it's not evolution by natural selection, but by re-engineering. But WW's plot was weak compared ALttP onwards. And the magic of TP is indeed cool, in its ubiquitousness, if not its crunchiness. |
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

Hmmm... Laruto... A Zora sage... ...Ruto... sage from OoT... Hmm... Laruto? Edit: Maybe that's why a Zora sage helped evolve the Zora race into birds... A guy like that had to be open-minded. |

Well, there's a Rito/Birdperson who's clearly a descendant of Running Man, so appearantly they ARE genetically compatable species... |

No thank you, and perhaps this is a hint that the gears are begining to turn to churn out KH3? I mean, the Secret Boss of Final Mix 1 was the final boss guy of KH2, and the armor and unfamiliarity plus the secret ending... |

The thing that bugs me about the secret ending in the last game was how many fucking keyblades there were. It's like Sora's not even special anymore. |

What bugs me is Kairi's keyblade in the nonsecret pre-ending part of the game. WHERE THE FUCK DID IT COME FROM? |

And RIKU had it, of all people. Riku, who, when he made a keyblade out of his own soul, came out with a black and red scimitar, and spent the last year or so in a place refered to as "the darkness". Pulled a pink and flower-themed keyblade out of his ass. |
