I agree on that note. Banjo-Tooie was OK, but it could have been much better for what it was. Hell, there was all that buildup for the fabled Ice Key and they decide to turn around at the last minute and say that you don't need the first game to get it in the second.

And there could have been more to the Game Over screen. Like Gruntilda actually reverting from her zombie form or something. There were still a few plotholes they didn't fill in too if I remember.

Yes! Gah, that was the worst with the Ice Key. And then there were those supposed Spoilers at the end of Banjo-Kazooie if you got all the puzzle pieces, and those scenes never even appeared in the second game...

I just remember the lack of a final boss. Very disappointing.

There was a final boss. You had to go up to the top of Gruntilda's fortress after the cut-scene that followed the quiz. Now DK64's final boss, THAT was an anti-climax.

The Grunty Tank felt like a dissapointment though. I mean, she's a witch! She has evil magic for just the purpose of squashing pesky heroes!

The quiz was a fun diversion however.

Plus the final battle in Tooie wasn't anywhere near as climactic as the final battle in Kazooie. It felt like just another battle and then, whoops, game done!

Huh. I oddly don't feel like going back to the end. Or trying to remember Brunhilda's advice.

In other news, in case I couldn't convince you to watch the Zelda trailer last night, I'll mention more stuff from the trailers. Like exploding arrows. And a howling wolf. I bet wolves have something to do with the title and plot.

The Legend of Zelda: Mark of the Wolves.

Featuring an adult Zelda in B. Jenet's purple dress.

B. Jenet. The sprite was used in some Outkast sprite music video. The character's from a game called Garou: Mark of the Wolves. I haven't a damn clue what it's about but I'd guess at it being a fighting game.

If you want a fun fun fun game, get Mercenaries... as an example, I was walking down the street and saw a line of 12 North Korean helicopters fly by randomly. So I pull out my gun and shoot at one. The whole line turns towards me as one and begins to surround me, guns blazing. As one comes low for a strafing run when I'm low on health, I grab onto it, throw the pilot into a tree, then take control and, in the span of 20 seconds, shoot down every other helicopter in a wondrous blaze of destruction. I'm hovering right now in the middle of a firestorm from all the crashed vehicles... :^_^:

GJ, you are aware that you can't just say "Don't do this, just because it bugs me", and expect them to always go along, right?

Awww... I took my shiney new helicopter over a North Korean base, pretending to be friendly... I was about to start blowing up their SAMs when an officer spotted me and I got nuked by some fighers... <_<

Edit to notty: Hmm... nope! Not aware of that. Still not.
