I was frustrated a bit by the battle system at first, myself, but it's grown on me. Which part in particular was it, FZ? The Moonstone system? The frequency of Random Battles? Or something else entirely? |

Part of it is how movement effects how the system works, but you can't really effect where the characters move. I got stuck on the golem boss at the end of the first dungeon, and was doing good at first. He'd do some damage, we would counter-attack, I struggled to stay alive, it was grand. But at some point I did something, and both characters ended up moving into the line of fire for that Mega Fire Beam attack he does, and I couldn't figure out how to move one of them back out of it, so he quickly demolished them both. That was a bit frustrating. EDIT: Hell yes they did! You must pay absolutely no attention to what mods are out there, do you? They have done some major shit to that game... Sadly the site that had the Gunblade seems to have gone under, and I haven't seen it anywhere else. They had a ton of promising looking things too... |

Come to think of it, I don't really think there is a way to change how your Characters move. I always thought he hit both characters no matter what for the longest time. All I can say is Guard after every Target Search and spam Cutlass Furies. Unless you've beaten him, then pay this post no heed. |

A few years ago I borrowed a friend's Dreamcast to play Grandia 2. He also lent me Skies of Arcadia. Both games were wonderful. FZ hit my opinion right on the noze when it comes to Morrowind, the PC version is better - because it is more customizable. The X-box grizzly bear hurts my hand within 10 minuets, I can use the smaller controlers though. The best example of cross system analogy I know is having played Soul Caliber 2 on all 3 systems. The PS2 loads the slowest and the GC controller seems to work best for that game. I only own a PS2 for 3 reasons: 1 RPGs are best on console and strategy games are best for comp and thsoe are my fav genres. 2: It has a DVD player. 33: I dont have the money for more systems. |

My friend Scott screwed up his Morrowind game with too many mods. Something did something it shouldn't have and deleted the distance limit for sounds. Now you can hear everything going on in the loaded area at all times. |

I've got a lot of mods, but luckily there hasn't been a problem... Yet... >.> But yes, Mods are what make Morrowind one of the best games ever. There isn't a thing in the game already that a Mod hasn't made better somehow. Cooler weapons, better armor, cool monsters, more magic, more places to visit, more grand adventures, more everything. I only use the Gunblade because the Lilarcor Mod makes the voice to quiet, and it's hard to hear him. Yes, Lilarcor the Taling Sword is even in Morrowind. |
