Okay, the bad camera angle is the only problem I had, and it was a BAD one I'll admit. I used First Person for as much of that battle as I could, and it helps, but the bad angle will cripple you quite frankly. Use the Motion Detector and the Sonar. Those things replace the Radar, and in my opinon add a lot to the experience. I actually like the radar less after I got used to them. Drop two or three Sonor pulses in a row, look for a slow moving dot of The Fury, and move to adapt to where he is. Staying out of his way and hitting him from a distance didn't seem that hard to me. I literally used the Sniper Rifle to do most of the damage I did. I stood at one end of a hall, waited for him to walk into my sights (Used Sonar to get an idea for where he was, then ran to the other end of the room and took up sniping position in a hallway he would be passing), hit him in the head, and moved. I finished him off with two rocket launcher hits because towards the end of the battle it gets too insane to stand around in one place and snipe him easily. I never noticed the juggling issue, because I tended to be far away. The damage I took tended to come from his Jetpack Rushes (He counts down and torches an entire hallway, and itcan be hard to find him in time to stop him) or from all the fire, because putting out the fires is too much of a hassle after a while so I just rolled through them. Getting blasted by his flamethrower on Normal Mode happened fairly rarely to me. |

I never touched the Sniper Rifle because I could only see him for about 3 seconds before he turned and flamebroiled me. And trust me, you do notice the juggling issue if you head sideways and find out he's been standing off camera aiming at you while you were trying to find him. |

That happened a few times. I tend to be able to move away before it hits to hard or long, though. The main damage I took was the fire damage over time whenever he hits you and sets you on fire. |

I rarely got away before being hit by one of those flying beams of fire he shoots from his flamethrower. I noticed in the many times fighting him that every time he fires, he sends out three little fire beams. If one of them strikes you, it's the same as being hit by the full force of his flames. And it knocks you down, just like the full force of his flames, preventing you from getting away from the full force of his flames. |

I do note the three fire streams and knockdown, but I tended to get away. At first it was a big problem, but he is pretty loud clanking around in his space suit, so eventually I started adapting and it wasn't as big a problem. Just don't go at it looking for a full fledged confrontation, go into it stealthily, or he hands you your ass. Hide often, move quietly, don't go near where he is clanking around. For the first half of the battle, a stealthy approach should work well to drop his life and take minimal damage. |

Every time I hid he found me. >_< I finally beat him by fighting him head on. Every time I found him I would shoot him until he dropped. Note: I used the tranq gun, that may have had something to do with the difficulty. I noticed after Ocelot and Pain that you get items for tranquing the bosses.

Ohhhh... Yeah, I just went into it looking to kill him, so I unleashed the full arsenal on him of lethal weapons. Ocelot and The End give you the best items (Ocelot for tranquing, The End a special way), I didn't bother with any of the others. |

So, Terra... if the game has so many gameplay problems, why should one suffer through it? |

The story. Although this one's plot also seems to be lacking. The plot of the first was good at points, and funny at others. The second had a beautiful story. This one...seriously, you can dodge this one if'n you wants. From what I've seen, MGS3 is pretty low-ranking. >_< Barely adequate plot, and they've found several ways to make the controls WORSE than they are in the other two. |

... You probably won't like me saying "The Plot". The MGS controls have always been lacking in my opinion, and the gameplay can be very annoying. But the plots are so damn good, I just can't stop playing them... |

Well, are the controls a huge detriment? I mean, I can enjoy a good plot, but if the controls are pure pain, then I can't. |

They work. They are designed for stealth, so the stealth portions are good when you are sneaking from boss battle to boss battle. But like Terra said, for the boss battles themselves which are usually NOT about stealth, they tend to hamper you. It's not an obstacle that is impossible to overcome, and you get used to it after a while, but it is awwkard. And... You... You LIKE MGS2's story... I'm sorry Terra, but there is nothing I can do to save you from yourself... |

Yes, I do. I thought it was intriguing, and it left me thirsting for the next. I also enjoyed Snake's role as "omnipotent protagonist", the powerful protagonistic figure that directs you where you need to go and comes off seeming like he could do it all himself, you're just a convenience. I like those kinds of characters. |

Oh, well when you put it that way, yes, it was good. However when looked at in the wide overview, even I'll say, "Yeah, it wasn't to bad, I want the next one." It is when you look a little more closely at it, that at least I say, "Wow, what is all this crap they threw together? It makes no sense." When looked at in overview, it wasn't a bad game. When you look at specific elements, I at least am dissapointed in it. |

There were a few parts I didn't like. Such as Raiden wiping out a small army of Metal Gears near the end. That...no. And throughout the first half of the second part, I found myself going, "Who do they think they're fooling? Lipkirkskinstersnad whatever his name is is obviously Snake". But for the most part, I thought it was a good sequel to MGS1. An intriguing middle ground to set the stage for the next part of the story. But I would like to know whatever happened to the Colonel's niece? I've heard that the ending where she lives is the canon ending to MGS1, but we never hear from or about her in MGS2 at all. |

I don't think this si too spoilery since it is at the beginning of the game. We get a breif, brief mention of her at the beginning of MGS2, and that is it. Otacon and Snake are talking, and Otacon asks somthing along the lines of "How are you and Meryl doing?" and Snake says something, and that's it. I can't even remember if they are together or if they broke up, but I'm fairly certain that conversation is in there. |

Well I am almost certain it was in the main game, but it could be in the Demo. I don't know why they would cut it. |
