Got any PCI slots? You might be able to put a card in one of those.

That's the regular white slot, right? The one my sound and modem is hooked up to. Yeah, I've got two of those... Where coulod I find a new Video Card that fits in a PCI slot? All the ones I saw seem to only work for AGP slots.

Not a bad card that. Not brilliant, but it'd do.

I found it by searching around a bit on Newegg. There's probably better ones, so just do a search on Newegg for video cards and set the search limits to PCI instead of AGP.

Hmm, and that second one is even marketed with Half-Life 2...

I'll need to look more into it. I don't like to buy stuff online... But Christmas IS coming up...

Umm... wouldn't that be a good thing? I thought PCI-Express was the new replacement for AGP, or somesuch. o.O

Yeah, PCI Express is too new for an eMachine to have it...

Yeah, if it doesn't even have an AGP slot, it won't have PCI-Express.

Guilty Gear Isuka is the best fighting game I've played in a while. I played for 8 hours today after classes ended and my thumbs hurt now. Mmmm 4 player 2D fighter with anime style characters so good...

Rise, my thread! Rise up, and be healed!

Just rented the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex PS2 game, and I've got to say it's pretty nifty so far. I'm having trouble following the plot, but since I have trouble following the episodes sometimes that makes sense. The controls are both a blessing and a curse in one. On the one hand, movement and targeting is very nice and easy. It plays like a FPS in Third Person perspective, so the controls are quick to learn. On the downside though, the buttons for other actions are very awkward, and easy to mix up. On accident it is very easy to mash the "Jump" button in mid-air instead of the "Grab" button, allowing you to plummet to your death. And the button to fire your main gun just seems to be in an awkward place. However, with some switcing of the buttons around it isn't too hard a problem to fix. The only other complaint would be the AI switches between fairly smart and total dimwit at random. On Normal mode, I can sometimes shoot a guard and his ally standing five feet away won't notice, but other times I shoot a guard and every nearby guard comes running to see what's going on.

Overall, I would say the game is flawed, but not bad. I would recommend anyone interested to rent it first and see how they like it before deciding if they wanted to buy it. It has a Multiplayer mode, but a current lack of remotes leaves me with only one controller, so testing that mode may take some time...

Just finished LOZ: Minish Cap, for the GBA. And damnit, I WANT THE OTHER HALF OF THE GAME BACK. Seriously, either I've gotten too good at Zelda games, or they've got progressively shorter.
