Something Awful used to run Gnome stuff. I can't remember if it had anything to do with that though. |

Through the wonders of omrays and Dejap I just finished my fifth or sixth play through (including Explay) of Bahamut Lagoon for the SNES. Here's the lowdown for those who haven't heard of it. It's a Strategy RPG that was never released out of Japan. The main character Byuu has Silent Protagonists Syndrome (SPP) to a degree, meaning the only dialogue is selected by the player and usually doesn't have a large impact on the game overall. You get to raise dragons that fight alongside you and gather the Holy Dragons to summon, which range from Square staples such as Bahamut and Leviathan and Alexander to newcomers Hyperion and Valitora. There's more to it but I'm not the best at explaining games and it would take me a while so . . . I highly recommend that any Strat-RPG fans err, acquire, Bahamut Lagoon. Has anyone else played it? |

I have played the first few maps of it long before I had goten a new computer, it has been so long that I had forgoten how to activate the translation file for it. That and where I got it in the first place. |

When you download both the omray and the translation file (should be a .ips), put them both in the same folder and rename either the .ips or the omray file as the same and ZSNES will do the rest. Example: blagoon.srm, blagoon.ips As for where to find Bahamut Lagoon, well, can't help you on that one. |

I played it before. It was better then some Strat-RPGs I've played, but the lack of manual frustrated me, along with confusion over raising Dragons, and how pretty much everything worked. Don't think I have it anymore, no real interest in trying to find it again... |
