Zelda has been delayed until March next year. I think my heart just broke. But there are some new screens to make up for it. Looks damn fine, especially the town.

So....what do you get when you mix Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, and Disgaea?

Well, for one, a bunch of pissed off FF/FE/Disgaea fanboys/girls, but that's neither here nor there. - Notty, Games and Stuff.

I'd like to see the full specs, controller, features, etc of the Revolution as well as screens of Smash Bros. Revolution.

(Eh, it's good that they're taking their time. Would you rather have it be like Wind Waker; which was awesome but way too short?)

Length of development is not an indicator of length of time... Fable was in development for years, and was regarded as being a very short game.

Of course, in conter, Daikatana was in development close to a decade and was regarded as being mind-numbingly long.

I though Daikatana was regarded as mind-numbing in general....

Yes, but it was also really, really long.

Hell, the 3 level demo was so long, I stopped playing it. I've played games shorter then that...

"After much discussion, the Zelda development team has requested extra time to add new levels, more depth and even higher quality to Zelda: Twilight Princess. Consequently, we're announcing a new global launch in 2006, after the conclusion of this fiscal year (March 31). We'll provide a specific date at a later point in time. While this may come as a disappointment to many eager fans, it will absolutely enrich the game and make it a multi-million seller."

They can say whatever they want, I'll only be convinced once it's released...

Well, I hope it'll be good, but I doubt a Zelda game would turn into Vaporware...

'Cube owners are definately going to get it, whether it comes out later than sooner, but those very first images released at E3 2004 and the subsequent videoes have whetted (sp?) pretty much everyone's appetite for it.

And like FZ said, development time is no indicator of quality, I doubt Twiglight Princess will turn out to be a Daikatana .

But still, more time can't make a game worst, unless somehow that same game idea comes out before it, like with Second Sight, Second Sight was conceived before Psi Ops. But because Psi Ops came out first, Second Sight didn't seem as original when it came out.

I am highly suspect of people who are still under the impression that TP will be released for the Cube...

I have absolutely no complaints with stalling so that they can make the game longer. Considering alll of the recent Zelda works, I'd be pissed if we got another 4 dungeon crapfest(Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Minish Cap).

By the by, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent is a good game, though it takes some getting used to the controls.

It involves dual control... which means that the control pad moves Goldeneye, and you can choose how to point him in a direction. The default setting is Thumb, which means that you strap-on the thumbpad and use it on the touchscreen. There's also Stylus, which is basically another version of Thumb, and Right Buttons/Left Buttons. I haven't tried Left Buttons, but Right buttons turns the ABXY buttons into the second control pad. Shoot the Right weapon with R, and the Left weapon with L. Still need to tap the touchscreen to pick up weapons, and you can only carry up to four weapons at a time (two guns, plus grenades [default left weapon], and a pistol with infinite ammo [right default weapon]).

Being ruthless is fun. Everytime you kill someone by means other than shooting him (explosion, trap, using the mag-rail and your MRI imaging, etc.), the game records it. I suppose that being ruthless like that improves your character.

Also, clubbing a guy with your weapon (use the weapon when in melee range), and then taking him hostage (with Select) to use as a bodyshield EASILY makes this a fun DS game. I am even trying to learn the dual-controls just to play it.

EDIT: And my bro and I haven't even played the Single-Card multiplayer yet.

Yanno, it wouldn't surprise me in the least in Twilight Princess was pushed back to the Revolution.

What better game to have at launch?

(So, I finally got around to beating Knights of the Old Republic and then booted up KOTOR 2, which I had been saving until I beat the first one. Seems fun so far (I've only just completed the whole mining colony thing) but I must say that HK droids are the best things ever.)

They will NEVER have a Zelda at launch, look at Nintendo's history, Zelda games are usually released in the middle of a consoles life span and at the end. So if they move it to Rev we probably won't see it until 2007 at the least.
