Didn't know it had newgame plus?

Also has bascially infinite random dungeons, which just keep giving you MORE dungeons to go through...

Good site for reviews and screenshots. I had the direct links to the reviews yesterday but ther are still easy to find. They don't have any Phantom Brave reviews up yet, but I'm sure that will change.

Xenosaga is actually a very good game, Mordain, but it really is more of a game/movie mix than a true RPG. If you go in expecting to be in the heat of the action all the time, you WILL be dissapointed. There is at least one cutscene in the middle that is something like 45 minutes where you don't even touch the controller. Treat it as an Anime that you get to play and you'll have much more enjoyment.

That's not the reason I won't play it...

Also, I don't have much time to play games that require hours on end anymore... and I've watched the first chunk of plot, and couldn't help but mock the characters the entire two or so hours of it.

Speaking of good tactical RPGs did anyone ever play Bahamut Lagoon?

So....what do you get when you mix Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, and Disgaea?

Well, for one, a bunch of pissed off FF/FE/Disgaea fanboys/girls, but that's neither here nor there. - Notty, Games and Stuff.

I played it a little on an emulator a few computers back. Its lost to me now, but it was good.
When I'm bored, I like to wander around and cast X-Zone on random things.

Yeah I played it through on emulator with DeJaps translation. My only gripe with the game was it became too easy once the main dragon (Salamander?) became invincible.

EDIT: Yes finally not an Immigrant!!!

I actually went out and bought Disgaea today. I made the err of hitting the Geo Symbol in the last tutorial battle while my guys were on it (I didn't realize it would set off the others). Luckily Laharl lived the the chain. I do like how the prinnys (prinnies?) sound when they attack (Dood!!!). All in all, so far it seems like a nifty game.
There used to be an image here telling you to vote, but then Photobucket, the image site made to allow you to do third party hosting, no longer allows third party hosting without throwing a shitload of money at them... and I can barely afford to eat. So no you get some text of me bitching about it, yaaay! Also, go vote.
Everyday I'm tumbl'n.

The prinnies are one of the best things about Disgaea... Just how they talk adds to the whole game....

Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

As to good Tac-RPGs, y'all really should look into the first two Shining Force games, or, if you're lucky enough to own a Saturn, the third.

I loved the Shining Force games. Too bad I had to sell my Sega. But then again I can always get it as an emulater.
