Oook?
(Because Wallmart is conspiring to destroy the American family?

Oh, and because I never got a chance to comment on it:
The Revolution controller is either going to be really nice or horrible. Depends on how sensitive it is, how heavy is, and whether you can effectively use it while resting your arm on the side of a chair or something.)

I knew someone who was a bit fanatical about hating Walmart...

I expect shitty products from them, but sometimes, it doesn't matter if it's shitty or not, I just need something cheap and when it gets down to cheap, everything's the same. That's the only reason I go there, ever.

If you're getting something that's kinda expensive, and the same price pretty much no matter where you go, like games, don't buy them there. I've had bad experiences... (once with a game that wasn't in the box, but luckily we found out before leaving the store and got an actual copy, and once with a game that was on a cheap type of disk that didn't work all the time. Not sure if the latter was their fault, but they also have a no-returns policy for games...)

Here's a new Iwata interview (translated by Google): http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...Flanguage_tools

Another amusing thing, if Nintendo went with the IGN mock up of the controller "shell", the player would have access to TEN face buttons (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, X, Y, Select, Home, Start) two cross directional pads, two analog sticks, 2-4 shoulder buttons, and possibly the B "Trigger" button on the back. That not even counting the 3D movement function!.

Except if they went with the controller shell, all the remote would be for is a laser pointer, so it's really exactly the same as a GCN controller.

Actually, if they went with the IGN mock up I was talking about, it would be used for the Start, Select, and the mysterious "Home" buttons too. I mentioned those other buttons because of the layout of that mockup shows them exposed and thus accessable if Nintendo used that design and wanted to set it up where they wasn't just just as another "A" or "B" option to press. I wasn't talking about Nintendo's intentions for the "shell" controller in general.
Personally, I'd prefer a SNES or PSX layout to the control, as I'm not fond of the GC controller at all. I find myself missing the B button due to it's size and having to remember which button is X and which is Y.

Speaking of the "wand" controller, I've noticed that in some pics it's shown with X and Y buttons on the lower part of the controller instead of A and B. I also noticed that a player can use more than one at a time. It could be very fun to use it like that for a boxing game like Punch Out!! One controller for each "hand" and the D-Pad for moving and dodging.

Nintendo says the controller is so as not to scare off your mom. I wanna play Katamari Damacy using it. And... I wanna see my mom play it too. She hates computers because she spends all day working with them already.

I don't want to see my mom play with RMs picture, though. Dear lord.
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

yeah, talk about needing councelling after that sight.

You know, I came up with the sharktroller, and this isn't quite as bad, but it's pretty damn close. I can bet this controller is going to suck for people with big hands like me.

Meh, Emulation has already spread too much for that to be too huge, I imagine. However, if I could find all my old NES games, it might be neat to grab an NES that works for 60 bucks to play them on again...
