Going back to FATE's relationship to Mother Brain, in CC's alternative 'saved' future, Lucca uses the Mother Brain OS as a basis for FATE in her research to save the destroyed, Robo filled Timeline. |

Details, details. I didn't like the game, I liked Lynx. He was a badass, and Forever Zero was the coolest attack EVER. Hell, I still don't like the game. I only keep the name now out of habit. |

AH yes, Lynx. Mr Fisherman Biologically Reprogramed Into A Catman by an Evil Computer from the Future, who was much weaker than Lucca yet somehow killed her. |

If he was much weaker then Lucca, then why isn't she still alive? *Point for FZ, the crowd goes wild! Yaaaaaaay!* And I didn't care about any of that. He wielded that badass ornate scythe, and his meer shadow was almost enough to kill the whole party, plus he got the attack Forever Zero. EDIT: Mike supports my argument for keeping it! Or insults me... |

Look at stats, and effectiveness in battle. LOgicly, Lucca SHOULD have won. It is a plothole that he did. The badass scythe is a Magus ripoff, and the Shadow of the Villian dynamic is overdone. |

Lucca's stats that you would have seen are based on her prime, in CT, correct? She is much older, and therefore weaker. Besides, didn't Lynx catch her by surprise? |

To Jew: Remember that Lucca and Lynx fought in a cinematic battle so that means that all stats are null and void, and it was a plot point that he kill Lucca so it had to be. Finally Lynx also had back up (if I recall correctly) in the form of Harley. |

She was a genius, remember? Chances are she would have had guard-bots just in case. And prime or not, she still has her magic and techs, which are not to be scoffed at. And a powerful gun, which cinimatically is not based on strength. Edit: Cinimatically, her ultimate tech would destroy anything and everything in her path. |

Still her death was a plot point so it had to happen, and there is still the back up provided by both FATE and Harley. Harley with her magic and draconic powers, and FATE with here SOS type of reality manipulation. |

Cinematic strength and stat strength are two different things. When the Cinima kicks in, stats go out the window, something that is commonly ignored which is why I eventually stopped arguing in those Video Game character threads. And you know you're digging your hole deeper... The more defenses you add, the more defenses Lynx had to go through to get to Lucca, and kick her ass, which is an undeniable fact that he did. |

His origin is patently ridiculous... The first time I put the pieces together and realized what he was, I felt the urge to go, "Serge, I AM your father!" That urge only increases when you realize, he's like the Darth Vader to FATE's "Emperor". He goes forth and does the will of FATE, only in the end he doesn't turn good and save his son, he turns even MORE evil and becomes FATE. And then you realize, FATE wasn't that evil at all, the Dragons are the REAL evil, and you thought they were good! And then you realize, the Dragons aren't the REAL evil, the Devourerer of Time is! And then your head explodes from sillyness. |

Then you realize that the devour of time is a lavos spawn fused with Schala and you want to hurt the people who wrote the script. |

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I STILL don't remember how Schala got fused with a Lavos Spawn, and it turned into the Devourerer of Time... |

I'm pretty sure that's just where Schala got sent after the whole lavos in zeal incident. Like how Janus got sent to the middle ages. |
