It becomes repetitive after you learn how much stamina you need for everything you want to do. |

I still like Megaman X Command Mission. Nice having different buttons for different actions. Also, M+L has a GREAT battle system. |

I'll explain as soon as somebody explains why any one shooter is better than any one other shooter, in a way that makes sense to me and I can't pick apart merely because I personally don't like shooters. |

But Terra's saying that it gets boring once you know how to use it well. I liked CM's battle system, but I liked CC's too. Having different strength attacks to use while building up to cast magic is cool, in my opinion. Also... M&L's required timing I didn't have half the time. Mostly because a lot of bosses had attacks to catch you off guard. |

explain how this is different from any other game and just because someone knows how to play chess doesn't mean that chess becomes boring. It just means that they'll get bored if they keep playing the same people, which is why you fight progressively harder enemies. |

...*perversely liked Legend of Dragoon's battle system* That's the closest I got... and did CC's battle system work like Skies of Arcadia at all? I liked Skies' battle system... |

Two words: Judgement Ring. I also liked Grandia's battle system. |

CC's battle system was meh, and I didn’t like it when Square sold it off as a sequel that never really was. I don't remember but I do believe they even said that it was a direct sequel to CT. But I regress... Oh?! *Becomes distracted by Twilight Princes. Drools over details.* |

Skies had a fun system, random fights got really fast as soon as I could open with... Alpha Burst I think. Grandia has one of the best RPG battle systems ever. If the upcoming Grandia game goes back to the feel of the first one, Ill have to get it. |

Have you played Grandia Xtreme? I couldn't bring myself to play it when I heard it had like 2 towns and ended in 20 hours w/o levelbuilding. |

Grandia 3 looks set to come out at the end of this year or early next year. I've never played Xtreme, but from what I've heard I probably wouldn't like it much anyway. |

I picked up Grandia Extreme for like 20 dollars, and played it for like three hours. It has the same battle system that Grandia I and II had, which I really like. I wish more games had battle systems like that. I only got a couple hours into the game before I set it down and started playing something else (Okage, I believe). The game just didn't capture my interest. I've gotten a lot pickier in my old age, and I'm much more likely to set a game down if it doesn't do something entertaining. If Grandia 3 is as good as either of the first two, I'm definately getting it. |

Be glad I will sum up Grandia Xtreme in less then 10 sentences 1. Meet Main Character 2. Meet Main Character's childhood nemisis who turns out to be his boss 3. Meet other Characters, which are different races and hate humans 4. Go to 4 elemental dungeons 5. Open up gate to forbidden ruins, and go in to the needlessly long and deep pathway to nothing of real importance 6. Childhood nemesis decides to betray you and unlesh the antichrist on the planet 7. antichrist kills Nemesis...thank god this guy sucked worse than Seifer 8. Repeat 4 elemental dungeons over and over untill you get uber 9. Kill antichrist and watch end of game(never actually did this part skiped to 10) 10. Go play a better game. |

Welp, beat Spider-man 2. If there is anything to complain about this pinnacle of games, it would be the pacing near the end. You start out simple, a couple of side missions, then the Rhino boss battle... then you go through the plot missions, which are variations of the minor missions. The Mysterio plot was well-balanced for the first two missions (Beck's Challenge and Alien Invasion), but the placement of the last Mysterio (WOMG! I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH POWER!) mission, in relation to the rest of the final showdowns, is the marathon run of Spidey's Rogue Gallery. You fight Mysterio, Shocker (twice!), and Doc Ock (twice! In a row!) almost immediately after one another. Just, damn. Hey, that's different... the black market auction for DOOM Exosuits mission took one try... And I managed to get the stupid consoles in the last Doc Ock battle in, like, five tries! (Four on the second level. Watch out for the one on the wall between MJ's platform and the one immediately ahead of you. Four on the second level, in each room. And there's one hanging JUST above the water.) Stupid water... Well, off to deliver pizza! Heehee, such great looks my roomies gave me when the pizza delivery music began to play... |

Sooo much better than Ultimate Spider-Man. In other news, I have returned this crappy game that claims to be an X-Men title, and have rented The Suffering: Ties That Bind. |
