And my job here is done. Why bother listing my valid arguements when you can present much more effective shallow ones for me?

That and I'm a fairly decent min/maxer. Considering my previous experience, level 60 doesn't sound too hard. I'm not proud of this mind, just saying the truth. Remember, I hate MMORPGS and think theres no point to them. Also, get out of the thread MMORPGERs.

STFU n00b and die
Thread 2:
Blizzard you suck you dont ahve any high end content.  I've done MC 200 times and have all my epic gear... whine whine bich bitch.
Get a life.

That's not an exaggeration, JP... it really IS like that...

And an MMORPG is a game. It's a valid topic. If you're not going to present anything other than sarcasm to the discussion, YOU get out of the thread.

It's not that good a point.

Basically, you're saying, "The game is fine, you're just not playing it right". Bullshit. They're playing it just fine, they're just playing it differently then you, and their way while more instantly rewarding has plenty of long term penalties that they're coming across that you don't in your play style. Not everyone has fun wandering around just looking at graphics. I don't go to art galleries because just looking at stuff bores me, and I don't just wander around games looking at stuff because that bores me too. I play games to accomplish things and recieve a good story in the process, and while that doesn't mean power-levelling, it also doesn't mean just wandering aimlessly. Hell, there are parts of the city I live in I've never been to, I'd explore those before I'd buy a game just to wander.

Not everyone plays at the same pace. It's a fact of life. Some people like to bum rush to max Level ASAP. Everyone plays games their own way, and enjoys games a different way. I consider myself a completionist: I like games as long as I feel like I'm accomplishing something. As soon as it feels like I've stopped accomplishing something, anything, then I'm done. The accomplishment doesn't have to be level based (Hitting 60 ASAP) or item based (Getting the Ultimate Phat Lewt of Leetness) but usually it's more story based (Like completing the Defias line of quests). This is also why I don't like Alts in a game, because accomplishing the same thing over and over is NOT rewarding, it's tedious. When I beat an Instance, I don't want to run it over and over, because I've COMPLETED it, and it's story is finished. When I beat a game, I put it down and don't usually pick it up again (And if I do, a long time has passed and I've probably forgotten the storyline). That's just the way I play.

So saying "Play slower" isn't an answer. Not everyone WANTS to play slower, and they shouldn't HAVE to play slower to have fun. I'm not saying that the game should tailor themselves to their demands, I'm saying it just isn't the game for them.

Playing 12 (or more) hours a day and then complaining about running out of things to do is a bit silly, however. Not that that stops people.

I SUPPOSE that if everyone pitched in and helped eachother stay at about the same level, and nobody lied, cheated, or stole from others, then MMORPGs would be fair. If every move was equal to every other move in usefullness, then rpgs would be fair. I also postulate that if the games borrowed from their platformer/shooter/fighter/adventure cousins and actually implimented some cool play mechanics then RPGs would be fun. None of this is true.

And why? The higher level you get, the more your leveling/skill options open up anyways.

It is silly.

Honestly, I'd suggest to those people... Just stop playing. Really. Just, put it down. Get the fuck away from the computer. Go outside. See that big glowing ball? It's the sun. Get re-acquainted with it. Come back in a few months when tons of new content has been added, then go at it again.

You couldn't understand this, or something?

Sooo.... anyone tried http://favardin.fa.ohost.de/GunRun/index.php?
Personally, I find trying to get on that high score list addicting.

I'd link some of the "I'm leaving this is boring" threads but its lagging now.

Oh! I'll translate for JP. I'm fluent in moronese:

Nobody thinks to put down the game. Not even me. So, I guess you win. But get out of the thread before I can admit that, because MMOGs, despite being games, do not belong in the Games and Stuff thread.

Despite this thread being for all kinds of games.

No, I didn't understand that. Thinks like what? And who should get out of the thread?

Regardless, you can go fuck off. I've seen nothing in this thread that anyone should leave over saying.

(Also, that gun game is quite entertaining.)

For all you Disgaea players (or maybe just Dem :P ), what's the fastest way to level at around 100?

Then your blind. Here, I even helped ya. Go respond to my concise, short, and totally not gonna be defended arguement thats existance is for the sole purpose of having you guys move your arguement out of this thread.

Seriously though, if calling me a moron is an intelligent arguement thats worth keeping in this thread, then I AM a moron I guess.

Some strategies suggest leveling up the enemies and going to a level with invincibility squares.

Also, capturing really strong monsters always speeds things up.

WHen you can take out Cave of Trials 3 you'll be disgusted at how fast leveling can go (for 1 at a time at least).

I mostly just ran Item World till ~200 (with 2 or 3 chars, most were 150- still).

No FZ, THAT was retarded. I don't give a flip if MMORPGs belong. Irrelevent now. Your arguements no longer belong anywhere. At least if were gonna remain rational.
