FZ--...there was a third one? And thanks for the heads-up. My dad's been looking for a game like MOO since forever... RTM-- you call yourself a shooter fan, and you've never played Gradius. You SICKEN ME! Hmm. I'm pretty much platformer, puzzle, shmup, and action-rpg only. The only 3d games I've liked have been silent hill, lament of innocence, and Champions: return to arms. I'm also a fighter game fan, but I can't play them very well. The game series I'm absoloutely best at is bust-a-move/puzzle-bobble. and maybe I'll look into broken sword... I liked King's Quest? |

Starship Unlimited isn't precisely the same, but the Demo can tell you if you'll like it. I like games like MOO, and like it, so... *Shrug* And yeah, MOO3 got panned pretty hard, and I played it... It totally ruined the old systems. It was both too complex (Too much micromangement if you try to dive in) and too simple (The AI could practically manage your empire for you, which you pretty much had to do to keep it running efficently). Space combat was a confusing mess, the Council system was poorly implemented... Basically MOO3 was a lot of good ideas that were handled horribly. |

Gotta warn ya, that game's more like an interactive movie. Just so ya know. It's still really good, and I love the plot. Just don't expect too much out of the gameplay. |

Well I played the demos (On PS2 and PC. Man, playing that game with a mouse is a bitch and a half... Get the Console verions if you want it). I found it interesting enough that, interactive movie or no, I want to give it a shot. |
