In terms of SSB:M, if I'm playing competitively (as in, I HAVE TO WIN) I'll use Marth. Roy's more powerful, sure, but lacks the speed and aerial capabilites that particular moveset requires. Air Down-A for the win! I used Link up until I unlocked Marth. While I'm a big Link fan, he's just too damn slow for my playstyle. |

A bit of a change in topic... Has anyone played Jump Superstars (for DS)? It's a Japan-only release, but since DS is region-free I may consider picking it up on ebay sometime if it's worth it. |

So use Young Link. Also: Mewtwo sucks. Very vulnerable to attacks from behind. |

Young Link's faster, but he still relies on all his various gadgets to be truely effective. I prefer a hit-and-run poking game, which is a LOT easier with Marth. |

Wait...Link's various gadgets are a bad thing? As stated before, Link is a walking arsenal. That's one of his biggest strengths (coupled with the way his arsenal weighs him down to keep him from flying far). |

If you enjoying playing as Link, then I would imagine all of his various stuffs wouldn't be a bad thing at all. ![]() For me, however, I much prefer characters who don't have to live off their B attacks to be effective, like Marth. |

You know, consdier how succesful Smash Bros has been, it's suprising that noody else has tried to really copy the idea, I mean imagine playing a Megaman game done up in that style, where you could pick the varuious Megamen or bosses and fight each other. |

Eh, I'd rather see a Capcom-SSB instead of just a Megaman SSB. Though if they did either, they'd BETTER make MMX Zero and MMZ Zero seperate characters! And, yeah, FF would make a very good SSB-type game, epecially if they threw in KH and CT characters, too. |

Eh, I figure its a matter of time untill those are made. Square is too greedy not to make something that profitable, and Namco X Capcom'll probobly be the closest we get to the other one... |

*Mind wanders as to the possibilities such games would offer. *Snaps back to reality for a moment. Well, anyway. The characters I can play as, and be decent with, are: Both Links, Mario, Dr Mario, Ganondorf and...Kirby, I guess. My brother? Anyone. He can whoop me at my best with any character. Especially Yoshi. |

Ganondorf?! Ganondorf is Captain Falcon, but without any of the speed that makes up for Falcon's pathetic techniques. |

Well, if equiped appropriately Sabin should do respectable damage with his basic attack, if not with blitzes. He should win if only because FF physics grant ludicrously higher numbers as well as multiple attacks per turn>.>. But lets face it, both of them are bottom of the totem pole for their group, and its really hard to say what the doom sickle would do in a non-party situation... |
