Speaking of CV...

Recently picked up my first CV ever (gasp!), Dawn of Sorrow. I'm not too far in, but I'd have to say that I'm rather enjoying it.

Other games worth noting are Yugioh: Nightmare Troubadour, Mario Kart DS, and Star Ocean 3.

NT has reawoken the near-obsessive YGO fanatic in me, as I scramble to re-build my Light deck.

I'd say more about MKDS, but I'm kinda irritated with it, at the moment. Why, in the name of god, would they map accelerate to the A button? It makes no sense! Y, B, X, those would all be fine, but NOOOO, they had to pick the damn A button. Grr.

SO3 is...interesting. Having a bit of a problem with the camera, but overall, enjoying it just fine.

I keep thinking I'm playing Tales of Symphonia at times, though...

You should pick up aria of sorrow (GBA) since some of the cast in DoS had starting rolls from AoS.

I'm currently lazy and broke, so I'm gonna have to pass on that. The glossary did a perfectly good job of filling me in, though. So it's all good.

its really good.

Notty, have you grabbed the Skeleton archer and the Amalaric Sniper souls yet? if so, you can combo them together to make a wicked arrow shot. as long as you don't want to move anywhere that is.

also combine Une, Alura Une, and skeleton gardner for devistating damage.

Hate to disagree, but I believe this is exactly the setup that was used by the snes, and I actually seem to be doing well with it. Don't forget that in addition to l, you can use x for items. Frankly, the setup seems suprisingly intuitive, (and really, I swear I'd lost all intuition on finding item keys, so for me thats a huge compliment). About my only problem is, sometimes when reaching for said key, I accidentally hit the brake key, but hey, I blame the small buttons and my rather large hands for that.

Heh, someone else got SO3... does the camera rotation seem backwards or something to you, too, Notty? I had a lot of trouble with it for a while...

As for games I'm playing, it's really odd going from playing WoW for hours upon hours to playing Civilization IV for hours upon hours. I had the oddest dream that was a near-perfect combination of the two, and I found out my mind is capable of being surprisingly graphic with violence. O_o

...so...was playing Curse of Darkness for another five hours before I realized the game counts time at half time... >_< or something. Sure as heck seems that way...

I was playing it from twelve-thirty untill nine-thirty am with maybe twenty minutes gone to resets....

It added maybe four hours to the clock.

... It's always been the A button.

B button on the SNES one. A was to use an item.

Star Ocean 3... I should get round to finishing that. I think I'm near the end now anyway. The chimera kills me.

A button worked on the GC and the N64 because of the placement. On the DS, it just seems...awkward.

And Mordy, it's not just the camera rotation, it's the placement and view of the camera itselft that's giving me problems....

...not to mention the fact that I always feel slightly underleveled. I just finished the Kirisa Training Facility, and my Fayt is only lv9. Not that I use Fayt much, anyway. I much prefer switching to Nel and blasting away with Symbology.
