If there's one thing in Mario Kart DS that pisses me off more than getting raped by shells, it's fucking Daisy.

It was bad enough in Double Dash with her constant self-proclamations, reassuring us that her name is indeed Daisy, now she just lets out high-pitched squeeks and giggles that just make you wanna rip your ears off.

Finally got around to going to nearby Gamestops to cash in my store credit. My search for Ogre Battle 64 led me all over the place, ending up in Smithfield, RI. At that point I gave up and decided to get Castle Shikigami 2 for PS2 instead. Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it looks like a decent vertical shoot 'em up... ^_^

Sorry for sending you on a chase but its a great strat game, Multipule endings and It even has the hero form the SNES Ogre Battle In it. Oh and overpowered dragons that cause status effects on the entire enemy party.

Bah, I always loved the annoyingness of Toad in 64. "Here we go!" "I'm the BEST!" "WOO!" "Yeah, hahahaha!"

Just tried out Castle Shikigami 2 for the first time. The gameplay's pretty good, but some of the Engrish is rather blatant...

On first playthrough, the only quote that really stuck in my mind was "Cleaning's done. Please forgive me..." after defeating one of the bosses. :P

I finished Metal Gear Solid 3 just now, and it was about a 5/10 not great but no big flaws, nothing really to add to the story but nice info on the big boss even if it wasn't important. It was severely overhyped and I am kinda dissapointed.

Of all the MGS games, I've only had a chance to play a little bit of MGS3. To be honest, I had no clue what I was doing :P

And after doing a little research, it seems that the voice acting in Castle Shikigami 2 is rather infamous. Here's some quotes and sound clips, if you feel like subjecting yourself to it. The game's great otherwise, though...

Yea you pretty much keep that not knowing what you are doing feeling though most of the game, It took me 80% to actually get the Close Quarters Combat to work effectivly

I seem to recall a comment on the back of the Civ 4 box akin to saying that the game controls were in real time (well, I'd assume the timeline would be accelerated, but I mean that it's not turn-based anymore). This seems like it would have butchered the whole thing, but I may have misread. Haven't actually had a chance to play it, though...

Theres a demo out, and from what I've seen of it its stayed true to the original. I fully intend to get it once I can slip 30 odd quid past my parents.

It's definitely turn-based. You might have mistaken the online multiplayer option, which allows human players to take their turns (at least the city-managing part of it) simultainiously. I'm playing hotseat currently, and it's quite fun. One major improvement is the civil disorder system... rather than a city going suddenly into revolt, a certain number of citizens simply refuse to work... which works out reasonably well, because at least they're doing something while the discontent slowly starves to death. :P
