I'm still a big fan of the Oathkeeper, myself.

But the Sleeping Lion and the Guardian Soul both look pretty good.

Sorry, the Captain Asparagus title has been claimed.

Now you have to be Kid Asparagus the sidekick. Hope you like elfboots and not wearing pants.

Sorry, I've already been warned by the local police department that going without pants isn't wanted. If I go back to my woeful pantsless ways, there may be fines involved... :P

maybe it's just me, but the battle system for ffx was great.

if they take that engine and make a new game with it, with a plot that
a) makes sense
b) is good
then I think they could get a lot of their dissilusioned customers back.

and it would be fine if it were a sequel or a remake or whatever, just so long as the plot was actually good and it made sense.

So far as I can tell, nobody has any problem with FF4 advance or KH2, so all we really need to avoid is another FFX-2.

That's another game system that they can salvage if they rip out what they are currently calling a plot.

I think that it would have been a fine game if it had been called Final Fantasy Dressup Girls and had involved, let's say, Celes, Aeris, and Yuna on a mystical journey across the space-time continuum on a quest to enter a fashion contest, since nobody would be playing it for the plot anyway, and no plot grates across the nerves a whole lot less than a bad plot.

Man I hate karma and Irony, after all my questing and killing of things I am at the end of Sekien Densetsu 3(or however you fucking spell it) I did Duran as my main this time so I get to fight the Dragon Emporer, and I want to say

FUCK THE UNIVERSE so what I used Hawk's Ninja skills to shatter every bosses stats after I gained them, that doesn't mean that the final boss has to blow my stats to hell and raise his.

Cheese can only be heard in controlled environments. When taken outside, cheeses natural sounds are drownded out by the outside sounds.

Also, it means that the PSP can be melted and eaten on hamburgers.

While I like my PSP, I can't help but think Sony's just begging for failure with their ad campaign. And Alan, I don't think that would result in a very tasty burger... :P

I think it would be a great burger, lots of PSP on my Big Mac please.

Edit : I got him who says a Cleric is useless in RPGs, Give them a way to have infinite MP and you can kill anything even if you only do 1hp to it a hit and it has a million or so HP.

So I can add Seiken Dentsetsu 3 to the list of games I have beat.

PSP is getting a lot of remakes I want, but I don't have the cash for it. :/
I dunno a PSP burger with pickles and onions sounds pretty good,

P.S. Newb, FFX did not have an original battle system, BoF4 had that system and theirs was better (formations + minimal back row participation).

so?

I have yet to see a movie that had a plot you couldn't say was borrowed from elsewhere, pretty much the same for books.

I'm not saying that all these things copy off each other, just that good ideas come to more than one mind.

So... Civ4. You confuse me so. The same problem was in 3, I presume, but I didn't play that one enough to remember.

Why do I have uranium mine, but no coal? Why can I not build railroads? I want bloody uranium-powered railroads, you bastards...

Best of all, why are the civilizations that have coal the ones that WON'T trade with me, and no others? NONE? There's three of the six that do... and all of them LOVE declaring war on me rather than trading it... despite all having multiple sources of it...

Hmm... looks like the PSP is getting a port of Suikoden 1 & 2 in Japan. IGN has some screenshots. Considering I haven't played either on PS1, and they tend to be rather expensive, I'm a bit interested in this. I can only hope for a U.S. release, though...

The second game is the better of the two, but the first has a lot of plot points that pop up in the sequal, and thus is also worth playing.
