I only use Faqs and the like for certain things, like skill lists and blue magic so I don't waste skill points or miss something

Well, its only fair considering I beat the game several times on rentals in a time when gamefaqs wasn't an option.

>.>
<.<

Besides, that faq doesn't help very much except as evidence. You can determine as much for yourself just looking at the stats as you level. The stat gains go in a pattern, as the faq clearly shows. And its not like that particular faq shows me where hidden chests are, which is something I'd usually do myself. Even that doesn't require much intelligence from the user, and I'd find excusable. The things I find cheating to use a faq for are puzzles or anything that requires intelligence(Secret of Monkey Island, Zelda),

Hell, I could have been ALOT more specific. I could have said rause POW as much as possible, using the levels where you get bonus points in it, as much as needed to kill the strongest common monster available, and then spend everything else on mg attack>.>.

Quote:

[max(1,(PA + WP + rand(-P,P) - DEF)) * T]

Where PA is the attacker's "Attack" stat,
WP is the weapon power of the attacker's equipped weapon,
P is a variable that changes with the equipped weapon,
DEF is the "Defense" stat of the target, and
T is a variable that determines whether you timed your attack.

so (PA+WP-P-MonDEF)*2 == MonHP

Where MonDEF and MonHP are the defense and hp of the strongest in battle monsters in the game.
and WP and -P are the stats for the best weapon for the character in the game.
>.>
...Or I could just assume getting POW on the POW levels should make you strong enough>.>.

And a skill that raises only HP... well I know thats bad just from playing alot of RPGs>.>
Its always an option and it always sucks.

By the time you beat the game you should be on max level and nothing you run into randomly should give you any problems so I don't put much thought into what I boosted.

Well obviously, I've never tried to do the above, I'm just saying, if I was gonna be particularly anal about stats, thats the way to go^.^. I just calculated all that for kicks, and like I said, just spend a few minutes looking at the stats raised before deciding what to raise produced the same results.

It breaks the heart...

Looks like a rumor to me, but hey, what do I know? The official site still lists the frustratingly vague "2006" as a release date.

Do
Me.Scream = Noooooooooooooo!
Me.inhale
Loop until Zelda.ReleaseDate < November

While(Zelda.ReleaseDate() >= "November")
{
Me.scream("Noooooooooooooo!");
Me.inhale();
}

I'm a helper!
(actually, this still presents an issue of comparing a string directly with a string, recommendation is to make NOVEMBER a constant)

While(Zelda.ReleaseDate() >= NOVEMBER)
{
Me.scream("Noooooooooooooo!");
Me.inhale();
}

I almost reserved it for last November.

Say... Ryu, did you get that sort of e-mail, too? Because if you didn't, then that ruins the credibility of the article...

Since not everyone who preordered it got the e-mail.

But I heard July last friday, and it made me weep.

But the possibilty November, brings me only the deepest part of sorrow

Dude, you guys are overreacting. All the GOOD Zelda games get delayed. Well, other than the Oracle pair.

I know how you feel, Drekal... but I will be strong.

EDIT: I don't mind it being delayed to work on, but the article suggests that the game is being delayed for marketing reasons, as if a $50 game for the Gamecube is going to offset the launch of the PS3.

You know, now that I think about it, this is a really stupid rumor.

Actual release dates are like Santa, or the Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy. They don't exist.

Usually, I find release dates to be accurate. Except for ZELDA, dammit.

Well, speaking as a programmer, just don't rely on ME to follow any due dates.

When you work on a game we all want, we'll confer to your programming inside knowledge.

Also, we'll break you rlegs if it's not on time.

Um *thinks fast and uses the Peter Pan route* I'm not that kind of programmer!

But seriously, its like, common knowledge that programmers are consistantly unreliable about due dates, and wait till the last minute for everything.
