I ordered KH2 because I have faith in it. FFXII does not get the same courtesy. It will have to prove itself to me in a rental before I'll consider buying, just like 98% of games. >.>

I should probably be that cynical with my game purchases, at least current-gen ones. My interest in games DBZ-related has been rather... painful. On my wallet, and occasionally on my very soul. *coughTaiketsucough*

Supersonic Warriors is still worth it, however it took a great deal of trial and error to reach that point.

Okay, on the elephant boss in MegaMan X3 that appears if you destroyed Bit and Byte before entering the final area, rather than letting them escape, who's idea was it to give it a giant extendable claw on a chain? The trunk that spews acid makes sense in the "spraying watter" kind of way, and the stomp attack comes from the elephant's girth, but an extendable claw on a chain just slapped onto the side? What the heck does that have to do with an elephant? Was this robot's designer on crack?

Maybe its a tiny metal howdah that fell off its back. Also, that works like a claw.

Flame Mammoth is from MMX1. I'm talking about a big elephant robot thing in Doppler's Fortress in MMX3. It only appears if you used Frost Shield and Ray Splasher to destroy Bit and Byte, respectively, when you encountered them in the regular stages, rather than beating them normally, having them flee, and fighting them fused together in Doppler's Fortress.

I never really bothered with the Super Chip. The armor bonus isn't really all that necessary, the boot bonus can be handled just fine without, and the X-Buster bonus...well, that one is nice, but it's just an awful lot of trial and effort when the Super Helmet gives you all you really need, and you can get that after just a few Mavericks.

I really felt that the armor bonus was the best one, even if it wasn't very neccessary it worked against bosses while the healing did not.

Yeah, but the Sub Tanks that the healing filled automatically while you posted worked wonders against bosses.

Well, I got two games to comment-ish on that I've been devoting my vacation so far to.

First, oblivion. Oblivion is awesome. The graphics are superb, even on "low" quality. The battles are much more fluid, active, and fun than morrowind's, and the physics engine is amusing. Fast travel kinda ruins the adventure, but the walks tend to be so much more boring than morrowind's due to the less-climb-able mountains. The fact that everything (with one exception I've seen) is voice acted is awesome. All the quests I've gotten so far are pretty fun, and none of them are the kind of trivial "collect five portions of muck" there was all over morrowind. It took me a while to figure out how to properly drop stuff... and horses are rather combersome, but for the rest, I'd say it's awesome. Not perfect, just awesome. Two thumbs up, though. Great game.

...that is, until it started glitching up on me. A lot of the quest scripts arn't working anymore, the graphics get all super-freaky, etc. Even on new saves/games. My copy of oblivion has officially died. Now, I'm just gonna hope it's because of the computer getting messed up and it'll work on my college computer, but I won't be playing it for the next five days.

On to the second game: Kingdom Hearts 2. Fun game. I've beaten something like four worlds, but... It doesn't seem to have the same feel as KH1. With the "reaction" commands, the battles are so much more cinematic than before. You can almost literally just stop looking and start spamming triangle for minute-long periods. Not that you'd want to. The stuff it winds up doing looks awesome. Also, Aerith and Cids' voice actors make me cringe. Aerith has no personality, and Cid's sounds like a hillbilly. But they were only in one scene, so far, so I'll just ignore it. Setzer was also mostly better than I expected he'd be, but my expectations were rather low.

I also enjoyed the beginning, and felt kinda miffed by the change to controlling Sora. That shouldn't spoil anything, I hope.

... That would be an improvement on both Kingdom Hearts.

No, I haven't played either, but it's an improvement.

Getting him stuck in the door would be a funny way to get to his weakpoint.

he would first have to stop being surprised about how much he sucks.
