Those cards are broken for a single reason. Raigeki clears the field. Change of Heart gives you an opponents monster for a turn, for free. Monster Reborn revives one monster from either players grave. All for no cost, other than actually playing the card. CED, however, has four things going for it. 1: Same stats as BEWD, except attribute is dark. 2: Easy to summon. Especially late game, where he is deadliest. 3: Completely destroys the field. Removes any advantage either player might have, and makes them both topdeck. 4: Burns opponent, usually pretty badly. |

you know the number 3 has backfired on me many many times....you know perhaps i should argue that Yata was more broken than the Chaos dragon |

Well, I've found Sephy to be easier as he runs out of health. What's giving you problems? |

Yata is a nasty little card...in the right circumstance, it locks the opponent down completely. CED is nasty regardless of circumstance. Winning? You just gained a large beatstick. Losing? Wipe the field, and do one hell of a lot of damage to the opponent! Also, did you hear about how, in Japan, there's been a lot of Time Seal/Mask of Darkness/Tsukiomi lockdowns? They ended up basically restricting Time Seal. |

They also restricted LLAB, also you forgot a card Harpie's Feather Duster. But a well place Wabuko could save you from the Yata Lock. |

thats my problem with Yugioh...they make broken cards with no real thought about how powerful they are and restrict cards, its not like you can't just dig stuff out with various draws, heck i could make a deck that will reliably pull exodia out within 4 turns |

The deck is so saturated with drawing/searching cards, that it has no way to protect you during your opponents turn. Correct? |

you wouldn't beilve how many people have problems with a sword with that kind of range, its like a whip but sharp and drek thats actually wrong, there is a card i use called heart of the underdog, it lets you draw each time you draw a normal monster, and triggers repeatedly (as far as I know) so a bunch of decent normals, 3 of the hearts and the five exodia peices should do well together. |

Do you not have Guard or Reflect? Either of those can put an stop to Sephy's stupid sword rather quickly. |

Ah, that's not a bad strategy, I guess. In my last Exodia, I went for a combo with Card of Safe Return and two Spear Cretins. |
