Oh ye GODS. ITS COMING OUT FOR BOTH SYSTEMS. Cube owners have lost NOTHING. Wii owners have GAINED. You can play Cube games on the Wii ANYWAYS. End of story.

Funny. See, it's only on the Wii site, and the article mentions nothing about the Gamecube.

Also, this makes me happy.

The main Twilight princess site still says its on the gamecube, and in the E3 press conference they told us about the two different versions as well. Its been known for awhile now that it would be available on both consoles.

edit: Ok, I watched all the conference videos and I gotta say...

Uh... Sony? Your using a PowerPoint presentation? AND DEAR GOD, HE'S WEARING PINK! I mean, GAH!
Microsoft... ok, you sort of interest me, but why did you spend half your presentation on the arcade games? Also, you scare me.
Nintendo: easily the best presentation award!

I've been hearing more and more positive things about Nintendo on various sites and not much on the competion latley.

It kind of reminds me of back in the 80s when the word Nintendo pretty much meant Videogames.

You mean, because they had no competition to speak of? :^_^:

Seriously, though. Nintendo was much more strict about what games got released to the public in those days. If they didn't like the gameplay it didn't get a license.

Oh nintendo was quite strict. Not only did they have to approve the games themselves, they also maintained advertising rights for anything that appeared on their system AND whatever game came out for there system had to be exclusive. No other system could have it.

It does seem a bit much, but then again, looking at half the lineup that comes out for the Playstation and X-box, I can't say I'm completley against quality control.

RM can now rejoice. Sony have seemingly shot themselves in the foot this year, sadly. Also this.

EDIT: If only the strictness had carried through to today. There'd be less crappily made licensed games and EA might even be a real video games development company.

But, it looks like they changed the HUD to match the Revmote.

Eh, whatever. Not like I won't also have a Wii.

Well, they obviously weren't going to use IE.

Anyways, my opinion on what I've seen of YI2... not enough media concerning DK Jr. On the other hand, the babies don't CRY. Well, not audibly. I want this game.

Saving the other kids from the mysterious floating island (and probably from Baby Bowser) with Baby Mario, Baby Peach, and DK Jr. riding on Yoshis? Sign me up.

Well, no Smash Bros. today either.

Gay.

However, Duck Hunt Wii sounds good.

Don't worry, if the Bison ever take over the midlands Godzilla will take care of them. Just like he did with Bambi.

Maybe they plan on saving it for last?

It sounds like a Nintendo-ey thing to do to me.

Heh, five ninety-nine my hairy ass.

Also, I think we're gonna have to bite the bullet on Smash Bros.

If they REALLY had it, they would have pulled it out with the other heavy hitters like Super Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess.
