Yeah. And Ben Stein sounds exciting.

I liked Irvine. He had slightly more character development than the others (SLIGHTLY), and though he, like the rest, was a walking cliche, he was a fun cliche.

Clever, FZ. :P

Irvine was pretty cool, I'll admit. I tended to drift to Selphie as my favorite, though.

Not clever, just honest. That was about as deep as Squall got.

If you're trying to come up with good FFVIII characters... Irvine was good. After that, they were all annoying.

I liked Laguna, he actually became cool as he went, and he wore HAVANA SHIRTS

I didn't really like a Final Fantasy between VII and IX. I liked X, though. *dodges rotten fruit*

Seifer seemed to me to be the deepest member of the cast, other than Laguna.

FF8 is probably my favorite as well, the Junction system was/is my favorite non-class system way of managing characters, even if it gimped Magic completely.

Mine is 6 for the story.

Then 10. For...well...the story, since there's not much else. :P And the class system.

I didn't like 7, again, for the plot.

Nine...I'll be honest. It wasn't the plot or the 2nd grade characters. The reason I never got past the third disc was that I just couldn't stand the way everything looked and acted like a Nickolodeon cartoon. I just...got sick of it.

Replace 7 with 5 and put 9 on the same level and there's my list.

5 seemed far too bland for my tastes.

It wasn't as serious as the others, true. More light-hearted and humorous. Thats why its on my list. It doesn't take itself seriously, yet it still tells a decent story and is fun to play.
