Yea well I really only played during 5th edition. A little bit into 6th, but they seemed to be running out of ideas then.

Then there was the color change at 8th, where the whites and artafacts are colored confusingly. My friend who used that card could beat any of my fun decks by having an invincible army, but good ol' goblin never fails to kill him fast enough.

Magic just got stupid after 5th edition...

Also, Drek, nice egg-sun. :P

I never really got into Magic...

I know how to play, I just never collected the cards.

Now, the Star Wars CCG, the old one, I was big into that. I've still got tons of those cards...

...you poor, poor man.

Although knowing Wizards, the old ones are nigh-unusable now, probably...

Slivers were introduced in the three Stronghold expansions (I forget the names, tho'...).

The olds ones are still fun if I could find anyone else with an old deck of them. The new ones aren't nearly as good... And the New ones are most definitly incompatible with the old...

The new ones are much better. Except for the flying slivers, they were taken out.

I doubt that they are better, and considering that you didn't know that there WERE old ones until just now, I'm not so sure I trust your opinion, no offense. :P

Í figured a lie would be easier than typing out that I know and sought out the old ones. But they weren't useable in the online game. Oddly they have stats and pictures in the catalogue though.

The old ones were the ones with brute, and flying slivers right? If not then they're way older than I thought...

Then I stand by what I said :P

Magma, Brood, Esscence, and Synapse slivers are the bestest ones ever.

....Flying Slivers were *one* type of them...

Besides, nothing beats Queen Sliver.

It's a Legend and it costs all 5 colors, so it has a gnarly mana curve. Broods can do essentially the same thing but the tokens grow at an exponential rate.

And the new cards are stupidly overpowered, because Wizards is... well, money-grubbing. I stand by my statement.

Slivers are hardly overpowered :P I think I only won 33% of the time with my high end sliver deck

Comparitively I mean. Guess that proves your point, but they're still cool.
