ok. I have an idea. an "Expanded List" of comics we, as the CSNES Community, enjoy. How it works: I'm gonna keep this first thread updated with links from the "Other Comics' thread, and ask everyone to post or PM me some ratings, from 1 to 5. I'll average out the scores as I get new ratings. If you want to write a long review, I'll post it up on my web-sight (how do I post website. lol.) and link to that as well. Reviews must be unbiased, and at least 3 paragraphs. Exceptions may be granted on a review by review basis. Scores: A * is a positive score a # is a negative score. New Additions: I will also add new comics on request about once a week, make sure you include your own personal ranking when you request an addition to the list. I expect this list to get rather large, but thats ok. I'll keep the list alphabetical, and maybe later add a second list sorted by score. Tags: There will be some tags to indicate what kind of content the comic contains. A comic can have multiple tags, and tags can be added as neccessary. this is mostly just to let you know what your in for if your clicking links blind. also if you think a comic needs a tag or should be stripped of a tag let me know. Also, tags are in order of Severity. [NSFW] = Not Safe for Work, but really, if your reading comics at work your not gonna have your job for very long... Also, naughty schoolchildren should avoid these. [Rom] = Romance. Love is in the air and Barry White gets another royalty check. [Com] = Comedy. I tell the jokes that makes the peoplez fall down. [Act] = Action. Prepare to be terminated. [Emo] = Emotionally Volatile. one minuite its the top of the world! the next your a sad duck listening to linkin park. [Hor] = Horror. No! Don't run up the stairs you Idjit! [Sat] = Satire on real world stuff within. Beware old clinton/lewinski jokes in the archive. OH NOES! [Hen] = Nasty Pervert comics! Nudity and Sex! Baka-Fairy does not approve! (the Lube fairy, however....) Where to send: to make sure I get your message, contact me at KisukeUrahara.shinigami@gmail.com . This account is set up for just this purpose. Being a webcomic fiend myself I will have no trouble keeping this project going, but I will need other people's ratings to make it work. I'ma start with some of the comics I've read first, and you can go from there. 8-Bit *** Adventurers *** Antihero for Hire *** Bob and George [Com] ** Broken Worlds *** Captain SNES [Com] [Act] ***** Checkerboard Nightmare *** Chugworth Academy *** CRFH: *** Control Alt Delete *** Cortland: *** Crossover Comics *** Dominic Deegan [Rom] [Com] [Act] **** Dragon Tails ***** El Goonish Shive **** Errant Story ***1/2 Evil-Inc **** Expliotation Now **** Girl Genius *** Goblins *** GPF *** Help Desk **** How to make a Webcomic in 8 easy Bits **** It's Walky! **** Kevin and Kell ** Kid Radd ***** Lost And Found ** Lowroad75 *** Megatokyo ** Melonpool *** N-Fans ###^640 Order of the Stick **** Patchwork Heroes **** Pebble Version ** Penny Arcade *** PPG Doujin ***** Real Life *** Schlock Merc *** Shortpacked **** Sinfest **** Sluggy *** Spider-man: Year One ***** Striptease ** The Wotch ***1/2 Turbo Graffix 16 bit Theater ??? Dragon Tails(NOT Tales, thats a kids cartoon) http://www.dragon-tails.com/ 5/5 Zelda comic http://www.zeldacomic.net/ 3/5 Order of the Stick http://www.giantitp.com/ 4/5 VG Cats http://www.vgcats.com/ 3/5 Penny Arcade http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic 3/5 Antihero for hire http://www.antiheroforhire.com/ 3/5 Adventurers http://www.adventurers-comic.com/ 3/5 Patchwork Heroes http://yeti.comicgenesis.com/ I'd say 4/5, but my opinion on this might be a little biased. Its good for a plot based comic, I'd put it as good as CSNES(which btw, IMO deserves a 4/5*shot*) PPG http://bleedman.snafu-comics.com/ 5/5 *posts so his work isn't lost* |

Short list still. I need to post my daily comic list. ^^ Also, I notice nobody has any commentary or reviews on any of those comics. I'm going to have some work to do I see... |

Pfft... Schlock Mercenary deserves 5/5. ![]() Edit: And you're entirely too free with your 4/5s... I mean, Zortic? It's passable... maybe... it certainly doesn't begin to compare with others you've rated the same. ![]() Edit dos: *disclaimer* This post is a statement of opinion, not fact, and anybody deciding to take offense to such will find themselves on the receiving end of a high-velocity brick. |

See, I dunno... I'd waver with Schlock being between 4 and 5. But giving Sluggy Freelance a 2/5 is just plain criminal. |

I'd have given OLD sluggy a 4/5, but I think it's been slipping in the past year or so. |

Yeah, that's why the low rating. Old Sluggy would merit much higher, but the newer stuff lowers the score somewhat. And I happen to like Zortic. |

What, with Oceans Unmoving? See, I didn't like it at first, but I've been liking it more and more as we're finally learning more about it... That said, I think storylines should start being wrapped up once and for all. |

In any case, I'll post more comics tomorrow, most likely the same number. And I could probably do that again and again until at least boxing day. |

Ooop. (I'd give Sluggy a 3 or 4, personally. Schlock gets a 5, though. The comic is consistently funny, has an interesting plot, and ALWAY updates on time. Daily. The update thing alone makes me think Tayler must be some kind of superhuman. The guy apparently keeps like three weeks of comics ready ahead of time in a buffer. Compare that to Sluggy, which is late half the time and does those stupid stick-figure weeks. Or El Goonish Shive's constant schedule changes. The guy's GOOD.) |

Not to mention the fact that he's one of the best writers I've seen when it comes to making you actually care about random passing characters. Take the current arc. The current focus is on a few random nameless characters that were introduced just a few strips ago, but I actually give a damn what happens to them. ... actually, I can't think of ANY other authors that can do that, let alone do it on a regular basis like Taylor seems to do. Edit: Okay, not technically nameless. We know the navigator's first name.

I don't think GPF deserves the 4/5 either, lately... it's one of the ones I'm reading more out of momentum than anything else. As for other comics to add to the list... I've lost my links so many times it's not even funny... >.< |

Since we seem to disagree about ratings and stuff, Red should take whatever the average consensus is. Thoughts? |
