So I just wanted to know:

Around how much of what you make goes into various entertainment things?

Of the money that you put into entertainment, how much goes into games?

How do these compare to last year?

How does the release of new systems affect your spending, do you gobble up the old stuff for cheap, buy stuff as it comes out, or wait for it to drop to the price of the old system?

For the first two, rough percentages are all I'm looking for.

Try to be honest; once the poll is complete, I'll explain why I wanted the numbers.

I make ~90 a week.

15 dollars a month goes into WoW. that's 5.56%

Roughly twice a month I'll go see a movie, so that's about 18 dollars a month for movies. That's 6.67%

Roughly once every three months I'll buy a game, so that's ~16.67 USD per month for PC games. That's 6.17%

I typically wait for things to drop in price before I buy them; I'm getting a lot of money coming in soon, so I plan on buying a DS(not a Lite) and a few older games for it. The release of new systems doesn't affect me at all because I never buy systems, or console games -- my friends always do.

Roughly 100% of my money goes into entertainment. I win!

...

...

Now don't be bringing up the fact that 100%*0$ is 0 :P

Umm, 1/10th mabey? Video games are much more cost effective than booze.
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

I'll answer this poll when I actually have a job.

So there.

:P
"How much time do you need?"
"Whatever you can get me. When the EMP goes off-"
"When it goes off, I'll be fine. It only affects computers, remember? And I, am a motherfucking ghost"

Can we move the locked broked threads to the Archives subforum, since that's what it's there for, and it will be easer to find them six months down the road?

When do you need this by newb, I can get you specific numbers next month if you need them.

I'd say a good 60% of my paycheck goes into entertainment in some form or another.

If by next month you mean the beginning of july, that would be great.

I'm not sure exactly when I need these numbers by, but I know that I won't need them after summer is over.

I will see if I can find our pay stubs for the past couple of weeks, then give you a complete budget for a month.

lets see... last week my paycheck was 300 bucks. I'm a moron, so I spent 100 on magic cards, 100 on my truck, and 100 on gas. now I'm flat broke until next week.

I love buying packs, singles are a better deal but nothing beats pulling the exact card you want out of a set.
