So I'm in a senior project group of 6 people and we are creating an isometric strategy game with a combat system based off of X-Com. None of us are spriters so I was wondering if anyone has any sprite sheets, or knows where to get some sprite sheets, that would work for this type of game.

We're still in the early design phases, but the basic idea is a multiplayer game where each players sets up an army with a point buy system (like warhammer). The game is going to be like X-Com where can destroy buildings and where actions are handled with action points, but we've decided to go with individual unit turns like in FFT.

Any help finding sprite sheets is appreciated, any suggestions for the game are also welcome.

Similar to X-Com. Basically urban/residential areas with modern and some sci-fi weaponry.

Right now the best unit sprite sheet I've come across is the DOOM marine. THe best landscape tilesets I've found are here. If anyone knows any better sources it would be appreciated.

Also for our first iteration (Due tomorow) we're using OpenTNL for the networking code. We're thinking of using ClanLib after this iteration but that library is too big to fit on our CISE accounts on campus, making it difficult to use it. Anyone know any small, but good networking libraries for C++. OpenTNL has rather terrible documentation and is very difficult to get working.
