What’s your favorite 80’s cartoon series? Mine has always been Captain N. I have been waiting for the DVD for so long, thankfully they just started selling it. |

Thundering across the stars to save the universe from the Monster Minds, Jayce searches for his father to unite the magic root and lead his Lightning League to victory over the changing form of Saw Boss. Wheeled Warriors explode into battle, lightning strikes! ...Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. Though I do have a soft spot for Dungeons & Dragons and Ulysses 31. |

DuckTales. You heard me. Honorable mentions go to The Real Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. |

I think it was Post-80's, but I'm not certain. If it counts, I'd give it an honorable mention as well. I just thought it was too late. |

This is kinda hard. But my top favorites were Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, and TMNT. Though, I was watching them in the 90s more than the 80s, since I was born in 1987 and my memory of the first three years of my life is a little fuzzy... |

Emphasis mine. So, while an excellent show, and with the style of an 80's cartoon, Darkwing doesn't make the boat. |

Teenage Mutant Ninja... or Hero *mumblestupidUKnunchakucensorship* Turtles. Especially because the seasons that originally aired in the 80s had a good balance of serious and silly. |

I can't pick a favorite, but Captain N, Voltron, and the Real Ghostbusters will all be up near the top of the list. |

Transformers. Because the secret to sucess is the ability to both have every character and object on the show in toy form and be able to DO something with them. |

Transformers. Then GI Joe. Then Voltron. Then maybe Thunder Cats/He-Man/Silver Hawks (probably in that order). I was only born in '87, but my brother born in '82 meticulously recorded the series (of Transformers primarily) on VHS. So I got to watch it a lot. At least, that was what it was as a child. Right now... GI Joe might be more awesome than Transformers by proxy. The Snake-Eyes comics are bad ass, while the new serieses of Transformers suck. Though the 90s movie might still be great enough to boost it up to the top. And normally I'd count Voltron as an anime, after all it is primarily footage from GoLion... but the American Companies didn't like that the blue lion pilot died, thought it was too graphic for children. So instead of censoring it by ignoring it completely like modern localizers do like with One Piece... they actually went back to the Japanese animators and had them make new footage. There's stuff in Voltron with the blue lion pilot well after he died in GoLion. Plus, if I remember correctly, Americans had another extra season produced, but I might just be confusing that with the mediocre 3D Voltron series that was made later. |

Thunder Cats. I loved Panthro. If I can choose something that isn't a series, The Sea Prince and the Fire Child was animated in the eighties... although it's such an obscure anime I had to write the wikipedia article. I'm such a geek I wrote a wikipedia article. Crap. |
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.
