Alot of people here seem to like cartoons that are techically for children. I'm curious to know what your favorites are. Anime is acceptable, but I'm really looking for American cartoons. South Park, Futurama, Simpsons, and the like don't count since they're not made specifically for kids. Alternatively tell me what cartoons you can't stand. Favorites: Avatar and Gargolyes are my two all time favorites cartoons. Awesome stories, good dialouge , good voice actors, and wonder of wonders, character developement. MegasXLR also kicks ass. And really, who doesn't dig giant robots? And for some reason I'm entranced by Fairly Odd Parents. It's stupidly entertaining in all the right ways. Honorable Mention: I've seen a couple of Danny Phantom episodes that I've been impressed by, and some that I didn't like at all. And it's generally not a good sign when I'm more interested in the secondary characters than the main characters. (Jaz, the parents, and that snarky teacher) Robotech, Transformers. My favorites show as a child, but they only get an honorable mention because I'm probably looking back on it with rose tinted glasses. Hate: Totally Spies, Winkz (or whatever it's called, Valley girls as faries or something). And other vapid shows that aren't really worth mentioning. But there is one show that stands alone. The worst offender of them all. A show so bad it gets it's own special catagory... God, how have I offended you that you visit this plague upon me? Ed, Edd and Eddy |

Second'd, third'd, fourth'd, etc. I hate that show... But...eh. The only favorites I have when it comes to cartoons are cartoons that I used to watch when I actually WAS a child. Let's see... Both the Sonic cartoons, the Mario cartoons, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, and Popeye. |

I liked all 3 of the Sonic cartoons. Some of my favorites. Sure the singing was cheesy but...this was the 90's just about everything was Cheesy. Danny Phantom is good. Mr. Lancery, aka the snarky teacher, is a great character. And one of my favorites as a kid? Well it was about a super fighting Robot. Megaman. Big surprise ain't it ![]() Hmmmmm.....I would have say that the Zelda Cartoons are an honorable Mention. It just...well I need to watch them again ![]() |

...I liked Ed, Edd, and Eddy before the last summer-based season. ![]() And I have to say, I'm disappointed that Loony Toons have not yet been mentioned. Heathans. I watched the Mega Man cartoon back in the day, but not regularly. I remember the Sonic cartoon being on in the mornings, but I don't remember especially liking it. Sailor Moon is an anime, but it's really the only cartoon I liked to watch regularly in my childhood. At present, however, I gotta say Fairly Odd Parents and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends are my favorites, and despite initial disgust, I think Camp Lazlo is capable of being pretty clever once in a while. |

Defiantly Avatar, but I got a soft spot for Ben 10 for some inexplicable reason. Beyond that, love Spongebob for random ass wacky fun. And yeah, I too like Camp Lazlo. While no Rocko, it's still endearing. |

Avatar first and foremost, Ben 10, Samurai Jack, Teen Titans, Justice League, Danny Phantom. Fairy Odd Parents, Megas, Fostes, My Gym Partners a Monkey, Kim Possible, the Batman, a little bit of American Jake Long. If we were to count all around like throughout there years, too many to count. |
