Yeah, I've been kinda pissed with them ever since they got rid of Ghostbusters, but this is just the last nail in the cofin for them in my mind. |

Last time I went to Universal Studios, I was bored and threw up a lot. Not from rides or anything, but because it was hot and humid and the park smelled intensly of vomit. |

Between that, the exorbitant prices at Disneyworldlandplace, and the inherent cruelty of Seaworld (we aren't even listening to what the dolphins are trying to say to us!), I don't think Theme Park City is worth it anymore. When I have kids and they ask to go there, I'ma smack them good and drink bourbon. |

Pssssh, you think I'm made of money? ANything in that mouse-eared money pit everything costs the same as on the outside, but multiplied by ten. At least. |

That's something of an exaggeration. It's expensive, yes, but I'd say the multiplier is only 2 or so. The pain comes in with the massive crowds, heat, screaming children, mysterious smells, and long lines for stuff that's not worth it. |

Don't forget the urine covered seats and ring of vomit below anything that moves at more than three miles an hour. Or the crying children. Or the fucking creepy people in costumes. Or the fact that your life is in the hands of people earning minimum wage. Or the fact that the mosquitos have yet to realize it isn't their native habitat (swamp) any longer, and likely never will. And the overall creepy annoyingness of... just about all of it, really. |

And the rain. And the seediness of the motels. And the whole "factor in three hours to find your car" thing. And the fact that when the kids find a ride they like, they drag you onto it OVER. AND OVER. AND OVER. Through the same hour-long line for the same fucking horrible ride. God but my mother is a saint for putting up with the Dumbo ride fifteen or so times in a row... I'd have killed me the third time. Or possibly when I threw up. |

The real question is WTF are you doing at ANY theme park - much less a DISNEY one - on a major holiday, anywhere NEAR a major holiday, and/or during a time when a large number of people have time off work/school? (other than summer break) |

If you go to a park in the off season, they can be damn fun. I've been to Islands of Adventure twice and loved it both times (Best roller coaster ever? The Hulk, easily. The water rides are fun too, although then you get to play "Who dies first of hypothermia?") |

Either A)You have enough money to by fast passes to everything or B)reading the word "STOP" on a sign makes your brain meats hurt And I can't remember the last time my family went on a vacation, closest thing I get is the school music department trip |

Suggest something other than Magic Kingdom. Seriously. Magic Kingdom SUCKS. More than most others. If you absolutely must go to a theme park, try Busch Gardens, any of a number of water parks... |
