Well well... that's a good plan on Alex's part. Time to watch the ensuing battle :D

Oh yeah, forgot about those. Chances are we'll see the fight, as the scene only shifted a few comics back.

Personally, I wonder who will actually be in the battle. Will it be just Alex or will Boogerman still show up as well, just KO'd or whatever equivalent.

Well, maybe that's another reason Alex punched Boogerman in the balls. So he wouldn't be in any position to interfere in the fight, just in case.

I think the motivation is divided something like...

So... what about Mercury?
Dr. Wiley has surrendered. Mega Man has saved the planet from destruction. But will it last!!!

His plan is rather clear now.
1. Enter battlesphere
2. Shoot Sinestrals in RPG battle zone where collateral damage isn't a problem and allied characters don't appear behind the opponent
3. Once Sinestrals defeated by a wave of plasma, have them fix Mercury (hoping that the blast will leave them alive, but barely)
4. ????
5. Profit

Isn't Alex only level 1 or something? Seems like he shouldn't stand that much of a chance in a straight fight.

I'm thinking he might just be challenging Gades. And relying on the power of the Super Scope to one-shot him. Anyone remember if Gades has more HP than the damage limit in Lufia?

Then, afterwards, pressure Daos into healing Mercury.

He leveled up a lot from defeating the zone eater.

Though that doesn't exactly clarify how much he leveled.

Are zone eaters typically 'high EXP' enemies?

The Guardian Legend - By Red Silvers (VLP): Our Red Silvers continues to find the weirdest worksafe pictures of the game's protagonist, a plane that transforms into a waifu.

Super Metroid - By Red Silvers (VLP): I think it's safe to say at this point, that Samus ain't leaving her suit once Red Silvers finally gets around the finishing this game.

Fantastic Dizzy - By Red Silvers (VLP): Fresh off his recent run of Super Metroid, Red Silvers tackles yet another, err... classic? (Egg-scuse me for being confused about Red Silvers' next choice.)

They're certainly not bad, as they're pretty late-game enemies, but I doubt they're worth more than a dozen of the kind of battles Alex has already fought.

Interesting how the sinistrals didn't want him to say fight it out. Also wasn't Gades the weaker of the four?

Yes, Gades was the weakest; though often acts as an unwinable boss fight in the Lufia games when he is introduced.

Problem. He has only one shot and the sinistrals know it. If he does fight only Gades, he's screwed because Daos will still be at 100% and he won't have anything that he can use to beat Daos. He has to get them both into the battle so he can take both of them out, then he can look for a way to cure Mercury himself (assuming the wave of hope didn't do it for him). After all, he can't trust Daos to heal her anyways- he's an evil bastard and more of the type to kill her when she no longer works as leverage. Of course, I know nothing of the Lufia series so I could be horribly wrong.

Hmmm not nessiarly. Daos and Erin have always been more Affably Evil than Chaotic Evil like Amon and Gades. Really it's only when all four Sinstrals are beaten with the Dual blade does he lose his cool and tried to destroyed the world.

And thats only because of his fantastic Racism!

Seriously though he is the smartest out of all the 3 Main sinstrals (I don't include Erim because well....Erim intelliengce has allways been fluxing between what form she's in) and the only one to learn from his mistakes (except for the racism part and underestimating humans).

He can be cruel, like in Lufia III where he killed a solider about to propse to his lover, But that situation was more complicated than it sounds. He killed a dragon that was attacking a town that you as the heros could not defeat

But all in all? If Daos says he's going to do something, he is going to do it or take the world with him trying.

Wily and Light were surprised at Alex having the D cell batteries. Alex may have more shots than we think.

More shots nothin'. According to Wily, the Swear-down on Sailor Street brought him back up to full power. Let's just hope Alex tries another shot to bluff the other Sinistral, and finds out that he has more shots.
