Well, this explains SOMETHING at least. This whole intermission took place right before page 600. It does explain how a cat can take out a shield generator...sorta. Well, looking forward to things wrapping up and the start of Act IV. Also...Marle good at reading people. Not a trait I'd expect, but a good one nonetheless. |

Still... I would have liked to have seen how the robot got into said position to be blown up ten seconds into the battle. Either way, it wasn't much of a boss, unless Alex was fighting it, then it would be a five-comic arc. |

One thing to note- by the fight woosh, the battle was RPG style, giving a distinct disadvantage to the dodging-hijinks based cat, as that sort of thing really only gives it an advantage in Adventure and Platforming style battles where player skill can compensate for inherent statistical weakness. Yet it still won. Just how high is its level, to be able to win with such a handicap? |

Just what we need in this community, ANOTHER Red. |

Super Metroid - By Red Silvers (VLP): I think it's safe to say at this point, that Samus ain't leaving her suit once Red Silvers finally gets around the finishing this game. Fantastic Dizzy - By Red Silvers (VLP): Fresh off his recent run of Super Metroid, Red Silvers tackles yet another, err... classic? (Egg-scuse me for being confused about Red Silvers' next choice.) | |

The thing is, in platform/adventure games, you can win on evasion alone by luring enemies into traps and hazards, and maybe invoking friendly fire. In an RPG battle, you can't. Even in the Mario RPGs, evasion counterattacks are based on the evader's attack, usually not environmental obstacles or the enemy's attack, and this battle is probably a standard turn-based no-evasion-as-offense battle. And the cat's attack stat is presumably quite low. |

I don't really see how that's much of a spoiler. "This panel indicates that sometime in the future you will see Marle is good at reading people, except this panel really doesn't indicate that she will be shown to be good at reading people later on in the series at all" I mean, if she had a robotic hand, the spoiler would be that she lost her hand. Or if Lucca didn't have glasses, we might suppose she was genetically altered or got lasix. But that she is clearly good at reading people doesn't really spoil anything for us... Nice comic though! |

Maybe he was tired of the wild mass guessing? |
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

It's interesting that she won because she's currently being held prisoner by the Puzzle Wizard. |

I thought Lucca was the one that could see the future. But yes, let's look at a typo and read into it for deeper meaning, we all know what he means let's just move along... |

yes but to have lived against Kain then the Cat must have some offensive power, because in an RPG battle Kain is technically completely twinked due to Alexander's last playthrough, even moreso since Kain has cross class trained and learned Throwing, which is the best way to deal with a high evasion enemy since alot of thrown weapons are autohits. |

I think the Cat just has some sort of access to Warp Zones or something. He teleported out of battle and left Kain high and dry! |
